I grow succulents. I'm still learning, but succulents don't like pots much larger than their root system. They don't need to be in wet soil long and a smaller amount of soil around the roots dries faster than if they were in a larger pot.I have several pups from larger plants and some small succulents I've separated from groups I've purchased.I started with 4in pots, as I had originally gotten some bigger plants and was of the mindset they wanted plenty of room to grow. Nope. They don't mind being root bound.These pots are great quality. They are small so the drainage hole is small. The one pic with two pots side by side show the original small hole and a slightly larger hole in the second pot that I made by twisting the tip of a pocket knife around in it.The pots were packaged so well I didn't believe I had the right package! It was larger and lighter than I imagined. That was due to the great packing job.I'm already planning on ordering another set as I didn't realize how many small plants I have! I have two pots left out of this set and three plants in plastic nursery pots that need transplanted soon.Anyway, that was a lot of info that was a tangent. But these pots are amazing! My second order will be placed soon!
