For the price, it seems great. The clamp screws needed to be tightened out of the box. My only complaints: some of the red paint on the handle is already chipping off after one use. I can definitely feel some play where the paddle connects to the shaft... this might be inherent in any 3-piece paddle (this is the only 3-piece I've used), but I feel like the tolerances could have been tighter.

Just came in today, the bag came in dirty, looked like warehouse dust (i used to work receiving) and was hard to open, the zipper was a bit disfigured, which is not a big deal because I don't use the bag anyway, but thought it was worth mentioning. When I looked inside the fin finish or the fin itself was cracked down the thin side. Pics attached. I have 5 different paddles for my boards and I was super excited to use this one, it feels super light and seems to be built pretty well. I am returning it and plan on re-purchasing it, so I will keep you updated on my experience with this company and paddle. I figure a bad one got through somehow and that the next one will be better, I am a bit bummed I was planning on using it tomorrow.

Paddle was light and pretty, but weak! Broke in small surf , during pull of stroke, looks good but weak!
