Excellent Glass File
This is my second glass file from this company. I love them!!I’m a retired nail technician so I know a lot about files. Yes, glass files are great for natural nails but not all glass files are the same. This company has excellent files, they are not too course or extra fine to file and shape the nail. Another good thing about the file is that if you need to smooth out a spot on the top of the nail, this file will do it perfectly as long as you don’t put pressure on it and just lightly glide over the spot.Another plus to this brand is the thickness of the file. It’s 3mm thick where most are only 2mm thick. This actually reduces the chance of breaking and feels stable when holding it. The end point isn’t sharp but pointy enough to clean under the nail to remove any debris. I also have their glass critical pusher/remover and it’s just as amazing to use!It’s said that you get what you pay for and I’ll admit that there are cheaper glass files out there that will probably be just as good but I’ve yet to find any that compare to this one!!Tack a leap of faith and purchase one, you won’t be disappointed!!

Perfect for Travel
Works beautifully. The size is perfect for my upcoming vacation. I never appreciated the superiority of a glass file to an emery board. I’m going to order the full-sized version for my husband and myself.

Good but Quietly Updated, Unfortunately
Looks as if the latest files being shipped have been updated from the original black version to more closely resemble the gray version. (The photo with a single file shows what the listing displays at the time of this review. The photo with four files shows the two new version black files on the right, with an older gray file and older black file in the left two places.)This is significant (and unfortunate) because there is a loss of effective filing area. It is slightly over 2 square centimeters (based on my measurements) lost between the two different faces of the file!
