I ordered these bamboo knives so I could cut cornbread or coffee cake in a hot cast iron skillet. I needed something that would not scratch the seasoning on the cast iron pan. These work great. They are much sturdier than I thought they would be. I am very happy with them and am thinking of ordering the matching spoons and forks.
