Best thing for teaching
It annoys me that this is so expensive, but it is the best thing out there for teaching. The second edition is a huge improvement over the first. The sources that Levack cut aren't going to be missed, and the additional examples of witch trials, especially from England, are very welcome. This new edition is also linked more clearly to the companion textbook (also by Levack), which is in a new edition as well.

Great Book
Purchased this for class, and I was pleased to find it included page numbers! So often Kindle editions only go by “location.” Content was great, and I enjoyed reading so many primary sources.

Useless for Senior-level History majors.
It s written in the style of a novel and not intended for classroom study. It is far too difficult to follow.

Fast shipping and good quality!

Kinda heavy on the social justice and feminism.
Not sure about the quality of the content, I studied South American history and Iberian history yet they book seems all over the place plus a lot of politically charged content.

Love is a strong word
Love is a strong word. I needed this for my Medieval and Early Modern Europe course and it was the basis for our Witchcraft essay. The sourcebook is well laid out, easy to read, has good notes and the physical book is lovely. If you want a compilation of primary sources on witchcraft trials look no further. And it's expensive because it take a lot of time to translate primary sources.
