I like the adjustability of all the elements of the brace.
I suffer from Gillain-Barre Syndrome. It has been over two years and I am unable to use my left foot. There is absolutely no strength in the left ankle, and it needs support. I have gone from double leg braces to this brace, and I love it. Everything is adjustable. The metal ankle supports can be positioned so it’s most comfortable for you. You can use them both, just one or none. The tightness is adjusted with two different straps, and the “optional foot drop” device comes with the brace. I wear it every day, and I can wear it with several different pairs of shoes. The foot drop attachment can be used easily, and it came with the brace. This brace has made a huge difference in the way I am able to walk. I am not working so hard to walk, and I walk straighter when I have the brace on. Ordering another so I can have one for the beach this summer.

I prefer this inexpensive brace to the $700 custom one which was made for me. It is flexible but supports the ankle. There are several parts to put together each time you put it on. It's important to get the right position for the brace on your foot and also the right tension on the velcro straps.I could not find the place to order the "optional Foot-up shoeless accessory" which was referred to in the online Amazon ad.

Review of AFO Foot-Up
My daughter says the drop foot brace works very well. However, she uses the cast-like foot support she got from the orthopedic clinic the majority of the time even though it is heavier. The cast also supports her calf. She uses the AFO Foot-Up if she is active for a long period as it is lighter than the cast.

Very non user friendly
i got this thing with great hopes. But the design is very strange. the directions are pictures only that are so small as to be useless. I never could figure out how to connect it to the shoe and the leg----so it became unusable.

Not what it appeared to be
Appeared to be a wrist brace

Reduced my circulation/ripped because of it
it was so tight. they should reupload their photos, because when I looked it had an adjustable strap for toes (which was a previous model)
