When our three tiny kittens outgrew their first scratch posts and needed something taller and sturdier for the perfect stretch and scratch experience, we bought one of these, and it was perfect. All three cats - the little one, the middle sized chunk and the long, lithe one - used it daily, and that scratchpost put up with that for over 2 years before it started falling apart.When the time came for replacement it was a no-brainer, we just reordered the same post. It started to fall apart within a month. The toy balls falling off wasn’t really a problem, it then the sisal started to come away from the post. Not very satisfactory for the cats, and coming downstairs every morning to hoover up bits of demolished cat scratcher was not very satisfactory for us.Because we like to live on the bright side of life and because it is the perfect fit for all three cats we’re going to give it one more chance in the New Year in the hope that the sorry state in the kitchen which only lasted 4 months was from a dodgy batch.

After reading plenty of negative reviews I was dreading ordering but my usual go to shop has stopped supplying cat posts so needed to find an alternative. Delivery was fast as was assembly. Post is taller than what my cat usually has but that's not a negative. Had the post nearly a month now & it's only got a few frayed bits and my cat uses it A LOT so I am impressed but it's still a little on the expensive side for what it is. Base is fine it does not tip over & my cat is not gentle with it & plays with the ball on top so he's all over it, never tipped over. Overall my cat is happy so I'm happy!

Slightly smaller base than our old one so not quite as stable expected . Cat loves it and not knocked it over yet

My cat loves it but I wish the base was heavier. The cats scratching motion tends to make the post slide across the floor

My cats took an instant like to this tall claw sharpener. I does what it supposed to do.

Good quality but could really have a slightly thicker and heavier base and non slip rubber feet would be helpful as it slid all over our wood floor until I bought rubber pads for the base

perfectly decent scratch post. my monsters seem to rip it apart rather soon though. it lasts well enough for the money though i guess.
