Yep, these were the ones for us.
I have two dogs, the smaller of which (16 pound Bichon Frise) is the reason for this purchase. She has a prey drive and energy levels like I have never seen before. Because of this, she is a total nutcase when we go on walks. She is a total sweetheart and wouldn't hurt a fly (and I'm not just saying this - my other dog would hurt a fly and the fly's entire family), but she is a barky, scratchy mess when we walk through our neighborhood and she feels she's missing out on a chance to socialize or get to do something fun. She is still a young dog and we are working with her to help her work on impulse control, but she is stubborn and not very treat motivated due to her high prey drive.Enter the problem: When she is like this, she runs in what I like to call her "mountain climb" mode. Her paws turn outward slightly, and she uses every bit of force to try to propel herself forward. She will stop and wait if I tell her to or stop myself, but then continues in her mountain climb as soon as we are moving again. This motion wreaks havoc on her poor paw pads. She has inconsistently worn down her nails and basically filed parts of her paw pads down to the sensitive nerves under the pad.Enter the solution: Targeted ads work great on me, and I found doggy booties through a targeted ad. I measured my dog's paws, and went with two different sizes based on the recommendations of the other booties I saw. We get the booties in, and my dog hates them, and is able to fling them off immediately. Not a great start. I return both pairs, and see that there are smaller ones ALSO made by QUMY. I loved the quality of the other booties, they were just too big.I get in this pair, and I'm a little hesitant at first - they look a little on the cheap side, the zippers seem a little fragile, and they seemed small for my little, curly, fluffy dog. "Oh well, we might as well give them a try", I say, and start working to finagle the booties on her little feet. And they work. My dog doesn't immediately start biting at the boots or squealing at me while I'm putting them on. These were a tight fit, but she adapted to them immediately - none of that dancing on her tiptoes nonsense we got with the other booties. I was a little concerned about them staying on like the other booties because they felt tight, and the zippers didn't seem reliable at first, but I was wrong. They stayed on for a whole walk, and I had her stay in them for a little longer just to see if she was bothered by them - a big NOPE! These booties were not only cute, they counted for her little paw pads. She's still a maniac-work-in-progress, but at least I can feel assured that she's a maniac-work-in-progress with paw pads that she's not destroying.

Order slightly smaller...
They seem like really nice quality & the velcro will hopefully help keep them on. Unfortunately the sizing seems off. I ordered a size 2 based on measurements & they're huge. Exchanging for smaller size. My chihuahua is almost 7lbs , 1.2 inch foot.

Happy repeat customer
We are a repeat Qumy booties customer. We bought our first set for several years ago, and it lasted through several winters until our dog passed away. He tended to throw one or more on our walks, but we loved the look and quality so much that when we got another dog we purchased another set for her. Once we started using them and found that they stayed on very well, we realized that we probably didn't get the correct size the first time. Our first tip, therefore, is to follow the manufacturer's sizing instructions carefully to get the best results. Our second tip is, if you feel that if Qumy booties fit your dog’s needs, get them because you’ll probably discover that you made a wise choice. It's not only that the booties are good looking, well-made and secure when sized correctly (all of which is true), but the Qumy company is a delight to work with if something turns out that falls short of your satisfaction. Here was our experience. After several walks in cold and snowy weather, we found that several zippers in the second set appeared to be deteriorating. We contacted the company as instructed and got a friendly response the very next day. After collecting our information, Mo Ping wrote back again several days later that the company discovered that the zipper supplier had made an unexpected substitution using zippers that were a little cheaper and, as we found, not quite as good as the original ones. Qumy accepted responsibility for the fault and offered us either a replacement set or a refund. Since we liked them so much up to that point, we accepted a replacement. Qumy was able to obtain and install the better zippers in another set and have that delivered to us with expedited shipping so that we could continue using them that same winter. Not only did the factory act with the utmost in efficiency and effectiveness, but their agent, Mo Ping, was in frequent contact with us during the whole process to provide updates on the status of the replacement process and offering his personal concerns and assurances. We ask ourselves what more could we ever expect from a seller than to stand behind its product, make every effort to resolve any problems that occur, act with dispatch for a weather-sensitive product and provide regular and comforting updates along the way – all with no extra charge. Good booties, happy dog, excellent company, can’t go wrong.

Cute and mostly functional
Love these shoes, they're super cute and fit my baby perfectly without flying off when she goes running. I bought two pairs. The inside feels warm enough, however I would not recommend if you live in a area where there is constantly snow/rain. I bought these for her because I was finding cuts on her paws from her playing outside (she plays ruff lol *pun intended 😅*) for that reason they have done their job and protected her feet. However in the snow I find that they don't keep her feet warm and they get wet inside so her feet are wet and cold the whole time we're outside. They protect her paws from the salt that they lay on the roads for the snow which is great. The quality of the shoes are great and it's deffinetly worth the money if you live somewhere that doesn't get snow or rain too often. I will have to find something warmer and more waterproof for her to wear in the snow during the winter.
