Loved by Vaccine Damaged Child. Love this movie!!!
A friend of mine has a little girl who was severely damaged by vaccines and became autistic. One of the things that bring her great joy in life is this movie. A great movie! Because of her autism, this little girl is intellectually handicapped forever but this movie has helped her with language and attention span so thats such a great thing. Research vaccines folks because you do not want your child having this type of horrific reaction. Very scary and very very sad. The family cherishes the things that bring this little girl joy now and this is one of them. 5 Stars!!!!

4K improvements but no Dolby Vision
I've waited and waited like many of you to finally add this to my 4k collection. Glad I did and no regrets. The 4k disc is done in HDR10 with Dolby Atmos audio. Sadly no Dolby Vision, but the HDR10 is nice to see. I started off very disappointed and didn't see any improvement over the bluray, then the aquarium scenes at the dentist office were incredible and the HDR improvements were finally seen. I think they could have done the other footage better but won't deduct for it. Classic movie with all the same extras you get in the bluray bundle. There are no new extras if you already have the standard bluray version.Enjoy!

Even better on Blu Ray
I loved this movie so much when first seeing it that I had pre-ordered the DVD when it first came out (something I don't usually do). I've watched it countless times and haven't gotten sick of it. Now, seeing it in high def, the movie looks and sounds absolutely spectacular.Since you likely know the story, I'll only comment briefly on that. This movie dares to tackle some very important issues, some for children, but some that even parents could benefit from. The idea of accepting someone because they're different or believing that you can still do anything despite physical handicaps, is a message that everyone should listen to. Looking over all of the adventures that Nemo has, he really can do anything that he sets his mind to. Even more profound, though, is the idea of over-parenting. And we hear it summed up so well by Dory, the most unlikely character to deliver such a message, when she says, "Well, you can't never let anything happen to him. Then nothing would ever happen to him." As much as we'd like to keep our kids confined so they're safe, we also have to learn to let go. Notice how at the end, when Marlin does let him go to school, Nemo swims back to say, "I love you, dad."Now on to the blu ray. Back when this movie first came out, blu ray wasn't even a trademark term. So we looked at the DVD and figured the quality was good enough. Seeing this beautiful film on an HDTV is simply amazing. The magnificent colors, the tiny details of the fish and the ocean, and the 7.1 surround sound is just beautiful. We sometimes get disappointed with blu ray conversions when studios seem to make little to no effort to improve the sound and picture quality. Not the case with this one. I just can't stress enough how perfect this movie is going to look on your big screen.I'd consider this to be one of Pixar's greatest works, from animation quality, to story, to casting. On top of all that, the improvement to high def is well worth the price. This is one movie no family should be without.

Daughter's favorite movie
My 2 year old is obsessed with this movie. We watch it every single day. I am actually pretty pleased that this is her favorite movie & not some crazy annoying movie. She says "oh no!" every time in the beginning when that big fish shows up, it's the cutest. She also has learned to say "dude" from the sea turtles lol. And asks "I keep Nemo?" This movie is a great family movie that adults can enjoy with their kid, especially if you are an adult who enjoyed this movie as a kid. It's pretty classic.

GOOD movie
Not sure why people are saying this is a bad movie much less using their experience with amazon as the basis for their review... This movie is heavy handed in the start to set the movie up as to why Marlin (is that how you spell it?) is so focused on finding his son. The entire movie is geared towards a young audience even though the few keyboard warriors i mean strict mothers think otherwise... if they think this is bad don't watch Nightmare before Christmas! Movie itself is a good one and can teach kids good morals including to love and respect their parents as its shown in the movie parents will go to the ends of the earths (or austrailia) to save their children.

One of my faves.
It's always a gamble when you order a DVD/Blu Ray from Amazon. You don't know exactly what you're getting because there's always a billion options. 2 disc special? 1 disc? DVD? Blu Ray? Wide Screen? 4:3? Some disc that some dude burned in their basement? But anyway, I digress, I got what I wanted and this is one of my favorite movies.

For fathers and sons
Disney is so adept at telling stories about relationships. The Little Mermaid was for fathers and daughters while Finding Nemo and The Lion King are father son stories. The is about life after the loss of a father while Nemo is temporarily separated from his only to eventually be reunited following a series of adventurous mishaps. Like most Disney flicks, character development is supreme and there are plenty of new and lovably interesting new ones from the sting ray bus/driver to the wise and weathered captive Angel fish Gill. There's hardly a dull moment from the time Nemo is captured until his father, accompanied by the forgetful and flighty Dory (ingenuously voiced over by Ellen DiGeneris). I hadn't seen this in a long time since the days past when my now 19 year old son and I would repeatedly watch this. Today, on Father's Day eve, I watched it with my only grandson.

"G"...?
Can't imagine a child watching this so-called "G" rated animation. Better check it out first before filling your kid's mind with some of the images, such as the scene referencing the horror movie "The Shining".

Simply brilliant!
Ahh who doesn't love Finding Nemo! One of Disney's best animations, it is beautifully made, colourful and the storyline is fantastic. This one of my children's all time favourites and they never get bored of it.The characters are all well thought out, the voices are perfect for each of the parts, its just a superb film. The one thing I love about Disney films is how they can be enjoyed by both children and adults.A great film, well worth watching by all ages.

So many good memories!!
Watched this when I was younger, so many fond memories. Good fun, good laugh, great animation, memorable story and characters. Definitely a good one for the whole family. Warning! Younger kids might find certain parts (especially the start) scary.

Must See Movie
When it comes to Disney Pixar moves, this has to be amongst the best! Whether you’re a child or adult, this will be a delight to watch. Like most Disney Pixar movies, there is enough here for Adults too to keep you interested. The visuals are fantastic, and the characters adorable. Just go buy it and watch it!

Speaks to the kids
Definitely one of Disney-Pixar's crowd-pleasers. Already a favourite with her 5yo and 3yo cousins, my now 23-month-old had also taken to Finding Nemo straight away, has been asking for it nearly every day for the last three months and her interest still seems to be going strong. She sits through the entire film, exclaims horror and laughs in all the right places. She also enjoys pointing out and naming the various animals and characters along the way. I like that the scary scenes are still kept pretty upbeat and quite short such that the overall mood of the film remains light enough for the very little ones. The baddies are also more goofy than menacing.
