Easy set up for an elderly person.
Large buttons and loud speakers make these a great asset to the person struggling with dexterity and hearing.

Good product
Unfortunately had to return because 90 year old gentleman still couldn’t hear. Profoundly Deaf.

Good for older people or poor sighted.
Relatively simple to set up ans use, with large keys, etc. One grouse: if this phone is for older people or those with poor sight, WHY ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS PRINTED IN SUCH A VERY, VERY SMALL TYPEFACE?

Not a good buy for the hard of hearing
I bought these for my elderly mum. She is hard of hearing and her landline phone is the only form of communication she can access in an emergency. Very important for them to live up to the description. They have proved to be a total waste of money and absolutely awful in terms of volume for the hard of hearing. There is always bad crackling on the line during calls and my mum can hardly hear the ring tone let alone any conversation. The only positive was the 3 'M' buttons that she could press in an emergency. I've given up on them and spent more cash on a BT set that I know work really well. Worth it for peace of mind!

Good loud ringtone but crackly sound.
Bought these for elderly parents who struggled to hear traditional phone sets. Louder ringtone are excellent but the sound on two of the three handsets is very crackly when in use. Additional handsets often say out of range, even if on their base units and these are only situated 5 to 6 meters from the main answering machine unit. The three star rating is only given as ringtone is loud, if on sound quality when on a call would be down to a 1 or a 2 at best
