Back cover states that all birds are pictured in color, however upon receipt the inside pages/and pictures are ALL black and white!

The cover is in color. Photos inside are black and white. It makes it more difficult to identify the different birds.

Good information about the birds but my entire book is in black and white. The only color pictures are on the front and back cover. Makes it difficult to identify birds! Disappointed!

Great book. Very happy with it

I owned this book as a child and recently wanted to track down a copy for nostalgic reasons. I actually ended up purchasing this identical book elsewhere (matching this ISBN) and was horrified by the terrible quality of the REVISED version. The paper appears to be MAYBE one full notch up from newsprint, and the beautiful color illustrations are now poor grayscale copies. My home office scanner and printer could have done better. The back of the book falsely advertises that “Every bird is pictured in color,” which is completely untruthful. Never have I seen a revision of a nice book so poorly handled. The publisher should close its doors in shame for this abominable tragedy.
