You HAVE to be careful when first inserting the cartridges into the pen because unfortunately since I didn't know how I broke my machine but got a replacement quickly! Watch a youtube video on this and it will show you exactly how to insert the cartridge, you have to locate the U on the cartridge (you may need to put your glasses on, I did) and line it up with the dot then insert it by pushing in (should be with ease, if you have to force it then you didn't line up the U with the dot). Once you do that you easily turn the cartridge counter clockwise and the pen clockwise, viola.... Charge it for 5 hours for the first time but DO NOT leave charging overnight!!

I received the Dr. Pen cellophane wrapped. All you have to do is charge it, open the desired sealed needle packet, pop it in, select your speed and you are ready to go. I used the Nano needle first to distribute serums better..no needles. Since I am using for collagen production and wrinkles I chose the 42 needles. I used hyaluronic acid by Ordinary first. I used for about 15 minutes, high speed all over my face ..nasal folds, jowls, cheeks, and marionette lines. My face was red, but after using Cerave cream, I looked fine the next day. A few days later, I looked on my car mirror and face looked more sculpted and refreshed. Can’t wait to use again.. they every 3-4 weeks. So happy with this product!

I have high pain tolerance so I went with 16, 0.75 and at 6, was not painful at all, but it does scrape when utilizing technique that device requires. I did use it on my surgical scar and it lightened by 50% once the scalp pealed off. Very comfortable to hold, definitely better than a derma roller in my opinion.

I have suffered from acne for a long time and now I’m left with large pores and scarring. This has help more then I ever thought would be possible. And all the different tips that come with are great so I am able to find what works best for my face. I have found that being consistent is always what works best. Only thing I wish it had was some instructions so I didn’t have to wing it.
