Very Sturdy and Would You Believe Attractive?
The materials of construction of this dolly were a surprise. It is made from a thick sheet of high quality plywood would a smooth finish. The wheels and casters are heavy duty; they roll and rotate easily. The top of dolly is covered with a sheet of a black rubbery material to protect the load and to prevent it from slipping. Handholds are cut out of one end and one side and make it easy to handle. It is really easy to carry using the side handhold. Dollys, by their nature, aren't all that maneuverable. With the wheels and heavy duty casters, this one is as maneuverable as any I've seen. I usually use a rope strung through the top handhold to pull the loaded dolly.

How to move most heavy furniture by yourself or with a weak and feeble friend.
Want to move a sofa by yourself? Use this. Or a dresser, or any of a dozen other heavy items that are inconvenient to use on a standard wheeled cart. In my case, I bought two of these to move out of my residence. I moved most things by myself, to a storage unit nearby. I moved things like a 10' long table and heavy dressers and king-size beds with someone else using one dolly at each end. There are no awkward lifts once the object is placed on the dolly or dollies. The wheels change direction easily and are big enough to ride over carpet and some bumps (watch for big bumps that will stop the dolly but not your heavy furniture so take some care). The surface is ribbed rubber and things don't slip too easily. I wish I'd bought one of these years ago and saved myself hard work in the past.

Solid dolly, horrible smell
This dolly has got me through two apartment moves without a creak. It's moved beds, shelving units, and sofas with no problems at all - unfortunately the only problem is that the rubber coating still gives off an obnoxious industrial smell. I've aired it, washed it, left it outside overnight, disinfected it, Febreezed it. You name it, I've done it. If you've got a garage or storage space, it won't be a problem but if space is limited and not airy, you'll be hit with a stench.

Good dollies
I ordered two. I put my washer and dryer on these- to get them just enough off the floor to get a mop under to clean and also I can easily roll them to clean the floor under them. I was worried that I might need locking casters, but there is no movement when the machines are washing and drying. There is a little bit of a rubber smell ( there is a nonskid rubber on top of these dollies), but not offensive at all.

Perfect for my washing machine!
Vestil FWD-2436-3R Fiberwood Dolly with 3" Rubber Casters, 600 lbs Capacity, 35-1/2" Length x 23-5/8 Width x 4-11/16" Height Deck I bought this dolly so I can store my laundry machine away from the kitchen sink then roll it over to the sink when I need to wash clothes.1. It is very durable (holds my 150 pounds washer just fine)2. The wheels roll easily in any direction3. the "handles" helped me position the washer onto the dollySome washers come with "portability kits"; some kits are sold separately for $75+...this dolly is all you need! (and a sink adapter)

I had no idea you could just *buy* dollies like this from *the internet*
I had no idea you could just *buy* dollies like this from *the internet*. I made mine last time and really didn't want to make another (I use it for my paper cutter, to slide it under the table when it isn't in use, and I got a new, bigger one). Turns out, I can just buy this. One can was indifferent to being pushed around on it. Two cats were freaked out.

Good but not cheap.
Works great but seems a bit pricey for what it is. I used this to move my 35 gallon aquarium (mostly drained of water) around my house twice, once for painting and again for carpet install. I liked that the wheels are smaller diameter (didn't have to lift all that weight as high). Did the job.
