Pleated jeans are great!
These are the best jeans we have found that have pleats, a relaxed fit and softish fabric. They are very comfortable and are wrinkle resistant with a permanent crease making them suitable for all casuall and semi-dressy affairs. The sizing was perfect and fit great right out of the box. The price was right and the quality very good for the price. There are 2 issues we would like to see addressed - 1) we would like to see it available in other colors!! and 2) that the button closure would be changed or modified. The button hole was a little too small for the button so had to cut it bigger to make it easier for 80 year old fingers to use. It was easy to do and overcast the small amount of raw cut area so it would not frey. There are other hook-type closures that could work better than a button, but jeans usually have buttons. Younger fingers most likely would not have a problem. We definitely recommend them and will buy more!

It is hard to fit me, these do a very decent job.
I am going thru some weight loss due to a change in my meds. As a result, I have gone thru the closet and pulled out my old pants that I have not worn in years, but the denim pants I had in my current size are much too tight...so I went shopping.I purchased a pair from another manufacturer that I have been patronizing for the last 6 years and they fit PERFECT, but I also bought the last one my size in stock...and they do not anticipate ordering more since they buy in quantity and ONLY my size is out of stock. So, I went shopping, yet again.I bought these due to the price and reputation of Lee. I recall, as a younger man, I bought Lee exclusively for years. So, I had confidence they would last, be well made, and be stylish. They are.I have worn these pants several times since the purchase and like them "well enough", but they are not "perfect" hence the 4 stars instead of 5. These denim slacks are too tight in my thighs and knees. Not by much, just tighter than I have been accustomed to these last several years. I am hopeful that I will continue to lose weight over the next few months and that these become just slightly more comfortable. As it is, I will wear these to work and social occasions where denim slacks are acceptable. If you are accustomed to buying pants with the "comfort expandable elastic waist", these do NOT have that feature. They are traditional waist pants. My experience is that by adding that extra feature, there is a slight amount of extra material in the thighs for that "expandable growth room". I have 3 pair of new denim pants all from different manufacturer's. These Lee trousers are the tightest in the thigh, but my wife loves how I look in them. After the first couple of hours, I do not notice them being tight, so, I will keep them and perhaps order another pair, after I lose another 10 pounds.

Finally my search is over!
I bought a Levi's late 80's and used it till a couple of years ago. The fabric was good and it kept its crease even if I wash every week along with towels etc. After that one Levi's I never found anything to match it over the years, particularly the last few years in the department stores; every brand I buy loses its crease after a wash, and worse comes up with wrong crease lines all over. I was suspecting my 'washing skills' and took measures, in vain. Finally I found this on Amazon and took a chance - the best 25 bucks I ever spent..PROS:The crease stays and Jeans comes out clean out of the dryer. The fabric is good and feels cotton, definitely.Excellent fit and finish and the sizes are accurate.Great price/value!Looks more like a everyday dress pant (almost :))CONS:only one color available?designs without pleat not available.you will never go wrong with this purchase..

For those who don't like "western" jeans
A good alternative to Haggar Work to Weekend jeans, which costs much more. But no elastic waist. I like that these are cut like pleated kaki (and dress) pants, instead of western style with pockets on the front. I like my pockets on the side, and the pleat gives more room for sitting down, even though I am not overweight. Why people buy western jeans with no pleat is a head scratcher to me. Style, I guess. You can even wear these with a blazer, for a countrypolitan look. Good quality material. sized correctly.

They look nice, fit well, but don't last very long.
I really want to like these pants.... the way they look and feel. Very comfortable. I wish I could give them a good rating. I think the problem is that the material is too thin for denim, and at the factory, they are trying to keep the material on the far side of the stitching to a minimum. I have three pairs of these, and every one of them failed early. The first: the end of the opening to the back pocket frayed and separated, and that was before it had gone through three washings. Number two: the knee became threadbare within 4 months of purchase. Number three: the waistband separated from the rest of the pants on one side rendering them unusable, and there wasn't enough material to allow you to sew them.

Finally, a casual-dress denim pants that feels and fits and looks very good.
This pant fits very good! It is comfortable and the length on me is just a tad longer than in the product photo. It is a pleated casual dress denim whose material has none of the tendency to double-up or bunch-up horizontally along the front crotch area -a problem I have encountered with both the Haggar Men's Work-To-Weekend Denim Pleat-Front Pant and the IZOD Men's American Chino Pleated Pant. I will certainly purchase another pair of this Lee denim pants, I highly recommend this product.

Decent Quality Slacks, Though Fabric is Thin
These are decent quality slacks--the stain resistance is nice. They also have plenty of belt loops, though they're a bit snug for my 1 1/4 inch belt. The waistband corresponds to the listed size, but the legs are longer than stated. I wear a 30 inch inseam so that's what I ordered, but I had to have my wife cut a couple inches off the legs and re hem them... not a major problem, but I wouldn't have been able to wear them right out of the box.The price seems to be a bit high considering the weight of the fabric, but I guess that's what you get when you have to buy a plus size.
