Great to help as a math manipulative. I bought these as they looked more pleasing to me then the ones with shapes in them but because they are smooth once placed all together our little ones had trouble remembering which ones they counted unless they are separated.

My son loves these. He pretends they are the number blocks from TV. He uses them to count just for fun. He is 4 and can count to 100.. They are very sturdy also.. he can be rough with them.
