Q: Is there a formaldehyde warning on the sofa? Or does it have flame retardents? Thank you

It’s marked on the bottom of the bed that it contains NO added flame retardant chemicals. My cats adore this bed btw. The only bed they’ve ever actually loved.

Q: How far off the ground is the cushion? We have an older kitty with arthritis and we don't like her jumping up or down from higher objects.

8 1/2 inches from ground to top of cushion i do not think there would be a problem at all no jumping needed she would be able to just step up and down

Q: How does the material tolerate cat scratching?

none of mine have scatched on it... or it handles it perfectly
