Custom Uniform Name Tape. White, 3.5 Inch Hook Fastener

I order 4 tapes after having seen the product was highly reviewed and had a decent rating. I was looking for RABU material tapes for my USAF uniforms. They are described as "uniform ready". But they will not ask you, you have to specify what you need, not just type words. My last name tapes came out fine. The other 2 tapes I purchased read "U.S. AIR FORCE". The first problem was the lettering stretched almost to the edges of the 6" material. Meaning that they were in fact NOT uniform ready. My ABU pockets where the tapes would be located above is shorter than the lettering which stretchs way too wide. I asked for a refund of the tapes and after a very confusing set of emails granting and then refusing to grant a refund, the USAF tapes were remade. After recieving the remade tapes the second problem now comes into play. The lettering width was reduced to fit above the ABU pocket BUT the lettering is now so skinny and does match the last name lettering, I can't ever wear it on the uniform so I WASTED $34! Do yourself a favor and find a local tailor to do it. I did and it cost $14 for 4 tapes that matched and fit perfectly. NOTE TO SELLER: add option to be uniform ready so that this doesn't happen to some other unsuspecting person and also please take a class in customer service. I should post the ridiculous emails your Rep sent, she needs lessons in communicating effectively and maybe review what you type.

First let me say I have ordered multiple items and have been pleased with everything up until this name patch. I have name patches in Kryptek Nomad and they turned out very well. The pattern was noticeable yet not overboard taking away from name and the quality in the work seemed good edges were even and stitching was done well. Non of that can be said for this particular name patch. 1. The Kryptek Typhon color that I chose and what is shown on example as you order is non existent on this patch. It is plain black no evidence of pattern at all not one spot. Now I realize it won’t show as much as a lighter color pattern would be it should have some pattern somewhere on the patch. If I wanted plain black I would have ordered plain black. If for whatever reason the pattern does not show up on material then you should change your example as it is miss leading. 2. The left side of patch is completely uneven cut I mean this is just simple laziness in my opinion it doesn’t take an expert to cut evenly and I would have expected better, and yes I’m sure some will say I’m picky and I would agree I am OCD but I don’t think expecting a patch to be cut even is asking a lot that should be the easy part. 3. The stitching on the top of H and on right of T seems to be coming apart already. I will say I recommend this company as I have had good experience in past however this Patch was far less than I had hoped for. Hopefully they will reach out and correct as it’s not worth the cost to ship back. I was looking forward to having another great name patch now I’m second guessing my choice going forward. I have attached photos as you can see the camo pattern shows up clearly on Kryptek Nomad one backpack. Kryptek Typhon looks completely black on new patches no pattern evident at all.

The quality is there, and it meets the requirements. The only problem is that there is is no buffer before or after the words. All my military uniform name tapes have at least 1/2 inch before and after the letters. Even the picture of this product shows this kind of space, but the one i received has no buffer at all. the stitched seam is touching the letters on either end. You are told to type in the words you want "exactly" how you want them. I wouldn't have thought that i had to add spaces before and after, but maybe you should do that, just to be sure it will look right when you receive it? It's short, but it will be fine, i just wish i knew this before i ordered it.

I purchased an Austrian army work shirt to wear as a form of PPE at my job (many locations in the plant require long sleeves but not necessarily FRC). It came with the "fuzzy side" of a hook & loop fastener & I didn't like the look of that just sitting there, so I went to Amazon to see if anyone sold military name tape. I needed a 6" tape, but despite some sellers saying "let us know what size you want," I didn't hear back from them after asking how I would request a different size. Even though the others were cheaper, I went with Northern Safari because 1) I could choose the size and 2) the reviews regarding quality were better. And those reviews matched my experience - sturdy name tape, the right size and looks really snazzy. As a bonus, I ordered it in the afternoon and got the message that it was shipping that very night! Well worth the price (actually a bargain due to the high quality), and I highly recommend buying your name tapes from these guys. I will be getting a few other military surplus shirts and will be returning here for more name tapes.

I am glad I ordered this! It fits very well on my dog's tactical collar and looks great!. It's been attached securely to my dog's collar without lift, so the Velcro is very strong. The embroidery is thick and very even. I thought the color of the thread was going to be more orange like the picture (I ordered military gold), but it was definitely a dark yellow. Orange would have been preferred, but the gold looks great, regardless. I ordered the 6 inch collar and was barely able to fit my dog's name (Tank) plus our phone number, no spaces or characters in the number. I would've ordered a longer one if available, just to have the phone number turn out in the normal format.
