Installation description and usage was written in terms that were easy to follow. Price was fair compared to other models with same features. Was recommended by a plumber who chose to purchase this model.

This sprinkler controller is more advanced than the 25 year old unit I replaced. It seemed a little complex at first, but the detailed instruction pamphlet (included) took me step-by-step until I understood how easy it is to program and modify as needed. I definitely required a backup battery feature, and this one has a handy pull-out door to swap out the CR2032 coin battery yearly. I'm very pleased with this quality product.

I needed a replacement for the timer that was put in 15 years ago. The instructions are hard to follow. I was lucky and copied the wiring placement from the old timer. Programming was self explanatory, thank goodness. The only problem I had was understanding start time was for all 3 inputs. The units allows 4 start times per day if for some reason you would need to water that much.
