I take Niacin very day and these help my system so well!

I love B3 only thing is sometimes it make varies put of body like pin & needles is sticking u like when your feet or arm go to sleep only last a couple minutes

I do not believe these capsules are 500mg each. I take three at a time and feel nothing. I have used Rugby brand in the past and I knew when I took 1,500mg - I was on fire (but they were hard to swallow). Frankly, I would not waste my money on any of this junk if you want Niacin - I am getting a prescription for generic Niaspan.

Ok first of all this stuff works and FAST!! I got it after reading it help depression and my husband has a bit since loosing his dad a year ago. Before casually taking this I was completely unaware of "Niacin Flush" Until it was too late!About 15-20 minutes after taking this I got really itchy and hot, thinking I was having an allergic reaction to some new makeup I had on, I immediately stared panicking trying to wash it off. Then I hear my husband in the other room looking in the bathroom mirror saying "what the heck did you give me" hahaha. We both come out and looked at each other and are burning like fire and completely red like tomatoes. I, unaware of the niacin flush thing, Said I think we need to go to the hospital!! lol. he said "no its probably from that Niacin". So we started googling everything while having a horrible experience. Not only were we on fire, but itching insanely, We had to consciously stop ourselves from itching before we itched sores on ourselves.Our whole bodies were beat red except for my breasts, they were white wth! After around a hour of this horror, we started to come off it and then became extremely cold, and my hands went white and got really numb which freaked me out! I had to soak in a hot bath to warm up. So weird!!

I ordered this because my partner has some symptoms of a niacin deficiency--the biggest one being his deep, cracking calluses which were the entry point for a severe skin infection that had him go septic a few years ago, which is an episode I'd greatly prefer to avoid repeating, so when I found out niacin can help with that, I started looking for some.While his calluses still aren't completely gone, they're much softer now and he hasn't had one crack and bleed in 4 months...and we're still on the same bottle, with a couple of months remaining in it! The bout with sepsis left us $22k in medical bills to pay off; by comparison, this $10 bottle that lasts him 8 months is incredibly cheap insurance!Since this is a capsule, it's pretty easy to swallow, even though it's a larger capsule; there's no smell or taste to make it difficult, either. This is NOT a flush-free niacin, so it should be taken with food to avoid the hot, itchy sensation; the strength of it from this capsule is quite an indicator of its potency.Overall, it's a great choice, like the couple of other supplements I've had from this brand--solid performers at an inexpensive price. They may lack some bells and whistles like being flush-free or being chelated for better absorption, but they'll do the job well, even if your budget is limited.
