Truely excellent!
I'm very glad I bought this large can and not Daddy Van's little 5 oz one. I started out by addressing my long neglectedwood items in my kitchen: I had no idea I had so many. Wooden and bamboo cutting boards, spoons, knife handles, rollingpins, etc!! I swab it on with a clean cotton shop cloth, prop it up somewhere to let it soak in for a few hours, come backwith another clean cloth and buff any remaining.I bought a friend a set of bamboo cutting boards that arrived looking lovely and raw: the bamboo had had no finish or treatment on it. The enclosed directions said to put a coat of wood treatment on every few days for a month or MORE. I could not imagine my friend actually doing that so I did it for her. Seven coats of Daddy Van's later the bamboo has a lovely soft sheen.I have a couple of pieces of furniture that were damaged by Orange Glo (which I do NOT recommend). Although I wiped it immediatelyand didn't let it sit on the wood, the finish was eaten away in spots. A couple of coats of Daddy Vans and the contrast between thegloss of the remaining finish and the dull looking striped areas is evening out; what an improvement!!I've been happy with the results on every thing I have tried it on.Pro-tip: this a slow working natural polish. If your wood is older or neglected it may drink it in for at least a couple of applicationswithout showing lots of shine. This is not a high-gloss shine, but a more subtle glow or sheen. Its extremely healthy for your woodand you will build muscles applying and buffing!I recommend this!

Great but stickier than other wax
I love furniture wax for my painted and raw wood furniture makeovers. This is a very economical large can of wax. My only issue is that seems much stickier than the more expensive cream waxes. Pretty noticeable in the hot weather. Takes more rubbing in and buffing too. Just be aware of that, otherwise it's a nice wax with a great feel and scent when applying.

Preserves and protects antique wood furniture without scent or chemicals
I’ve used this wood wax on my antique furniture that I’m packing away for storage for an extended period. According to museum websites; the best way to protect wood is by using beeswax - not oils that can turn black in crevices or silicone waxes that can do something else bad that I can’t remember. A little goes a long way which is great because this stuff is expensive but it’s the only beeswax I’ve found that has no other toxic or harmful to wood ingredients. I’ve also used this on some leather shoes and a leather purse and if used sparingly, it looks great and i really like that its odorless, nontoxic and actually good for preserving the wood/leather. If you use too much on leather it looks filmy and dull but buffing w a chamois makes it shiny again. Wish this stuff wasn’t so expensive but it really works great.

Love you Daddy
First bought your oil for my old house floors. Non toxic and floors looked happy. Picked up small tubs of paste for finished wood. Found it worked well on window sills. I think i’m addicted to your product. Little or no scent is great and I can use during winter months when the house is closed up and looking to keep busy. So nice to see beautiful wood and know it is protected.

what a nightmare
I was trying to put simple coat of wax on a floor. I saw this product and figured, hey non toxic is great I'll get this. What a horrible mistake. It went on easy, smoothed on quite nicely and didn't smell bad. After a day or so I tried to buff it out... well, that has never been successful- ever. I have gone through several bags of clean rags and we are still getting oil leaching off of the floor Months after one light application. At one point we tried applying a harder wax on top of it, hoping that might seal it, but no, this stuff slid the new wax right off of the oilslick that is now my upstairs floor. We did some painting and had to put cardboard down first because the oil that slithered between the floorboards was soaking into the tarps. This was applied last spring, it is now early fall and you still can't stand barefoot on that floor for a period of time without walking away with sticky feet.I also applied this to the side of an old dresser. It's in the basement now collecting cat fur until I get a chance to completely refinish it. It is also a sticky icky mess. I would hope we just got a few bad cans, because there doesn't seem to be any wax at all in this, just sticky oil that stays sticky oil seemingly forever. It's bound to wear off eventually, right?

quality polish in a value size container
This polish was just what I needed for my big sur dining table from crate and barrel. It's a thick paste but it spreads easily. I like to let it sit on the table at least overnight but I often leave it on for a week or two at a time when we go out of town. When we come back I buff the polish with a power buffer fitted with a sherpa fabric bonnet. I'm about halfway through the tin and have polished the table and both benches at least ten times, a little really does go a long way. I leave the terry cotton applicator pads that I use to apply the polish under the sink for quick touch ups as the beeswax finish will come off if I have to scrub a spot or use a magic eraser to remove a stain.

love this product! However…
This wax is my absolute favorite wax to use! Have used this for many years now…this last order I was quite disappointed in the condition of the can & wax. It’s not cheap! The can came in all dinged up and the wax inside looked like it had melted from being some place very warm. I will still buy this product but was very disappointed in the condition that I received it in.

Fantastic product
This wax was so easy to apply. I purchased a "raw" unfinished Teak bed, headboard and side table from Crate and Barrel. Their care instructions recommended applying a coat of beeswax. When the furniture was delivered I instructed the delivery men to just leave it in unassembled and I would apply the wax on every portion of the Teak wood while layed out on a saw horse. The wax really brought out the grain, natural dark spots and character of the wood beautifully. This product is great. I would unequivocally and highly recommend this product.
