nuLOOM Hand Loomed Kimberley Area Rug, 5x8, Grey

Using this rug in our kitchen and things tend to get spilled on it, often. I took a chance and threw it in the washer and hung it to dry. It came out perfect. Very happy with this rug, it's perfect for us.

Loved the look and feel of the rug. Unfortunately, the herringbone weave began to snag and come unraveled within the first week. It’s located in my bedroom where there is very little traffic. So disappointed because I love the rug so much.

I bought this rug to go under my dining room table. I'm happy with the overall look and softness, but it is a little flimsy. I'd compare it more to a woven doormat. You can see in the photo that it pulls under the table and chairs. I'm okay with it and I'm sure it would be fine elsewhere. Outside of that it is cute, well represented in the photo and I would be from nuLOOM again.

Love that I can machine wash this rug! It takes a while to dry because it is thick material. My only complaint is that there's a ton of lint every time I wash it, even after the 5th wash. Would definitely recommend!!

For the price, this hand loomed 100% natural cotton rug is a steal. The colors are exactly as they appear in the image and this rug is much softer than I anticipated. It's perfect for a bedroom floor that doesn't get a TON of traffic. The reason for this and the only downside is that it can snag somewhat easily due to the weave and type of fabric. I wouldn't use it in a highly trafficked room or playroom but I do have one in my son's bedroom and it does fine. I would highly recommend for use in guest rooms or even master bedrooms. I imagine it also could be tough to vacuum due to the softness of it. You would probably be better off throwing in the wash or using a handheld vacuum.

This rug feels nice on your feet and looks cute ( but also can be a little hard on your eyes and make you feel dizzy).This rug also slides around and folds and trips you no matter how much matting and rug tape you use to keep it in place. I have a really big area one, maybe a smaller 2X3 would be okay and slide less. the little threads also pull like a mofo.super cute, but ultimately a pass

Overall I think the rug is pretty cool. Looks decently made and seems believable that it's 100% cotton. For the price I think it's well worth it for a natural rug like this. However the picture does not represent the rug well. I ordered it expecting an all grey or almost all grey rug and this rug is not so. It's 50% white and 50% grey with the grey and white woven together into a herringbone. Now I'm paying $11 to return a rug that wasn't even the color I thought it was :(

I bought this for my son’s playroom and was pleasantly surprised at how soft it is and the quality. However, because of the weave I really wouldn’t recommend it if you have dogs. It’s already snagged in more spots than I can count and if I cut the snags it messes up the weave. Not a fan of that aspect, but for the money, it’ll do for now.

I am sending this rug back. It’s attractive but is basically useless as a rug. If you walk on it, it puckers and stretches. The threads also pull very, very easily. It is unusable. Save your money and aggravation. I wish I’d never bought it. Shipping it back will be a pain in the neck.

Love this rug. Super warm and soft and amazing price for the quality. Would not recommend in high traffic areas and I did use a rug liner to avoid slipping. Can be used in a grey or beige tones room.
