Duran Duran: Careless Memories

I have been a fan of Duran Duran for 40+ years and this book, Careless Memories, brought back a ton of my own wonderful memories. The candid shots were evocative and showed this band in all their glory as well as their quiet moments.The narrative that accompanies the photos is engaging and brings the pictures to life beyond the content of the photos alone. It was a refreshing new perspective of my beloved Duran Duran in their beginnings as well as the ultimate height of the 80's.Overall, a wonderful conversation piece and definetly worthy of any Duran Duran fan's bookshelf or collection.

Bought this as a gift for a Duran Duran Fanatic and they loved it. I did notice the binding of the book was a bit warped and doesn’t sit perfectly flat but thankfully isn’t bad enough to take away from the impact.

A nice follow up to “Sing Blue Silver”, and a sweet stroll through memory lane for the Fab Five’s historic journey.

This is a simply awesome book for those of us that danced to "The Reflex" and "Rio" and watched from a distance how these guys took the world by storm (I was only 10 at the time, so no chance to go to the concerts...also, they would not play in my country at the time...!)Pictures are both iconic as well as some hidden gems, all interlocked with current and old interviews with DD.If you are a Duran Duran fan, you cannot miss this book.

I enjoyed seeing the pictures from earlier in their career.

The only complaint is it is hard to read because the print on the white background is very light and hard to read. Print needs to be darker. Otherwise good book.

Absolutely loved this book. very much worth the money and would have paid more. Duran Duran a big part of my teenage years so loved looking back at the photos and not one of them had I seen before. Very Happy. ❤

this book was first released back in 2015 as a limited edition coffee table book at an expensive and out of many duranies price range at £200. Thankfully it has had a rerelease and i think it was totally worth the wait the photos are amazing many i havn’t seen before. The last duran duran photobook we got was duran duran unseen half of the books photos where not of the band,this book only has a few none duran duran pages thankfully.I really hope in the future denis releases more duran duran photo books in this price range.
