I received the DVD in excellent condition. I watched it by myself at first and cried the entire time. Then I shared it with the children at our church during a youth shut in and parents and children alike cried the entire time. I was amazed at how the children were so into the movie and how so many wanted to purchase a copy so they could have it at home. It made them first appreciate the fact that they were born healthy and second that it's okay to be different and that being a Christian is really cool. Two thumbs up to the creator of Johnny. The movie touches old and young alike. I dare not say what the ending is because I want others to purchase the movie and experience the Amazing "JOHNNY" for themselves. He will wind his way right into your hearts and you will find yourself buying copies of this movie for your friends and family members especially those whom you find it difficult to witness too.

This is absolutely the best family oriented Christian movie I have every seen! It covers forgiveness (forgiving others as well as yourself), the way to salvation, the fact that God can use anyone of any age for His purposes, the effect we have on others as we walk closely with God, the reality that some children might die young, and the hope we have as a born again believer. It is a fully faceted Christian movie which would be a great evangelistic tool for any youth group, church group, or church "family night". I highly recommend it as an addition to all family Christian movie libraries! To those my husband and I have shown it to, childen as well as their parents, along with adults who have no children, really like it and are touched by the movie. All comments and feedback after watching the movie has been totally positive and uplifting. Every actor/actress in this movie has done an exceptionally good job in getting the meaning of the movie across to its viewers.

I saw this movie years ago and always wanted to own it. I was always impressed by the way the little boy could quote scripture and the love he has for Jesus. Great movie!

This movie is an example of how God can take our tragedies, trials, and tribulations and work them out for our good and the good of others. I also believe that we are placed here on earth for a purpose and that no one else can fulfill that purpose. No matter how long we are given here, the important thing is that we complete our mission as the movie shows. There are many things to glean from this movie, and it is a good movie for those who are looking for purpose, healing, and possibly answers to the question -- "If there is a God, why does he allow children to die." Our time here is but a vapor, but heaven is for eternity. That is the lesson that Johnny tried to teach everyone around him in the movie.

This movie is one of the best I have ever seen. The story line is so good. Even though there are several sad personal trials it offers so much hope and the power to overcome.

I hesitated ordering Johnny because I watched my best friend suffer with cancer. But Johnny was a great movie. It showed how much he loved and Trusted the Lord in everything. He told people all about Jesus and what he can do for them. He never one time blamed God for his illness but accepted it. That was how my friend was. She Praised God for ALL things even giving her cancer as a tool to witness to others and help other people going through what she did. Johnny was the same inspiring movie. It's awesome and the producers and directors were not afraid to put the name of Jesus in their movie.Lea

Despite being possibly the most preachy and Biblically friendly Christian film I have seen, the background story is verygood and emotionally powerful. The lead, Johnny, dying of cancer, is really a terrific actor, and has such a positiveattitude, it is incredible. He is without parents, as his mother died, and he never knew his father. His doctor is veryfond of him and decides to take him from his group home to his own home for his last days, despite his wife's strongobjection, as they had already lost a child. What ensues is very touching and emotional. Unfortunately, the wife'sacting is weak, and the Biblical quotations and simple transformations keep this from being great or 5 stars. I ama "none" religiously, believing God is merely nature, but I do like many Christian films, such as "Fireproof", "Treasuresof the Snow", and "Dog Days of Summer". If you lilke a tearjerker, as I do, you can't go wrong here. Worth seeingeven if you aren't Christian, but if you are devout, you will love it.

Very good movie! Very inspirational... Love these kind of movies that have a good message, especially from God, to give out. If you like these kind of movies get Flywheel, Courageous, Fireproof, Facing the Giant...
