I use it on my baofeng UV-5R to listen to 413.537 MHz with the antenna _NOT_ folded . Compared to the abree 15inch whip antenna, the 42inch abree antenna gives a cleaner audio with less static.

Not tried as yet but quality Abbree antenna, I’ve got the same as they say are copies BUT THIS ABBREE LOOKS BETTER AND STRONGER 👌👌👌

Made no difference

Replaced a 18in whip antenna with this one and the difference is night and day! Used to only be able to barely reach a repeater about 9 mi away and after throwing this thing in I had a great contact through a repeater about 50 mi away talking with another ham almost 150 mi from me! Definitely the furthest contact I've had so far! Just keep in mind fully opened up this thing is about 4 ft of antenna so not the best for in the house use. Can't wait to get out and really put this thing through its paces!
