Bright and the switch is a nice feature. Great value!
I installed this light on our motorhome. Itโ brighter than the standard light that it replaced. The switch is very handy, and the orange lens helps slow down the insects. The extra lens is worth the price of the light!I installed the light using new mounting holes just offset from the old holes, as they were oversize. I was able to screw the new fasteners into the fiberglass without drilling a pilot hole as they have a very sharp point. However, I suggest drilling a 1/16โ or 1.5 mm pilot hole to make it easier. Use care and donโt over tighten as the small screws are easy to strip out in the thin fiberglass.

Good budget replacement LED fixture
Very close size to the original "porch light" on our mid 80's 17ft camper we've been remodeling. It was an easy install, just snip the wires and use the supplied twist nuts to connect the new wires. The original didn't have an on/off switch on the outside, so that is a convenient bonus. We took it camping and it did a nice job of lighting the immediate area around the door. We were running off of 12v power and it worked great. I don't know how the brightness compares to the incandescent version because it wasn't working, but it is pretty bright. My guess is 300-400 lumens? But not an annoying "floodlight" brightness that would be a camping foul in most campgrounds. You could leave this on all night for security reasons if you wanted without complaints from the neighbors.

Awesome customer service!
These are great lights. Very bright and easy to install. I had one that was defective. Customer service was great had me a new one sent out the next day. I highly recommend these lights.

They should design the bolt holes to line up with legacy OEM incandescent porch light fixtures
It doesn't seem like it would be any harder to design a retrofit fixture to line up with the original mounting holes. I don't really want to drill a second set of holes to install this over where the original OEM incandescent fixture had been installed. For now, I just put in an LED retrofit bulb in until I decide about if I want to drill a new set of holes to install this. Other than that, the quality seems fine, just seems like designs should adhere to some type of standards for better plug-n-play, assuming the user is not always doing a fresh install, but replacing an existing OEM unit.

Not a replacement for the classic old one.
Very thin edge, impossible to apply with butyl tape. Mounting holes do not line up with old ones, like no one is building a new camper by themselves, only repairing! The screws are smaller so the sturdy old ones can't be used and don't fit in the plastic, AND the screw heads are so cheap they easily strip. I did get it installed but it took many accommodations and more tools.
