Can sense motion through boxes and other obstacles which is exactly what we needed for the dark end of our garage by the garage door. We have stacks of boxes and other storage that would block line-of-sight sensors, this sensor can see through them and comes on as soon as we open the garage door.It's bright. We attached it to a floodlight hood-lamp that clips to one of the workshop shelves and can be moved around if needed.It came with a bonus we didn't consider when we bought it but we're happy about. If someone walks past the garage outside, it sense them, the light comes on and shines through the crack which would alert an intruder that there are motion-sensing lights on the premises, a deterrent to prowling.So far it's working flawlessly.
