I was very skeptical of this chair when I bought it for my mother. She is elderly and needs help mostly getting out of the chair, so the lift portion was the most important part. After shopping around for other lift chairs we found that they were closer to $1000 and that just really wasn’t in the price range. And they were all 70s god awful designs and patterns, Searching on Amazon I found this chair. Like I said I was skeptical at first because of (1) The price and (2) ordering online you don’t know what you’re getting. But I bought it anyway and just hoped for the best.The chair comes in two big boxes. One weighs about 35 pounds the other about 85 pounds. Mine came on two consecutive days. It was very easy to put together. All the electrical wires are marked and plug and play. The instructions included were OK but could’ve been a little more specific. One thing I will say, if you get this chair, do not put the arms on until after the back is on otherwise you won’t be able to get them on; but they all just slide in the place and then you plug it all and then it’s good to go. This lift & recliner is comfortable, the seating surfaces are smooth like butter. And it’s just a good looking chair. And I swear I have never heard a more silent motor.My mother really loves it. And it has already seemed to help out problem she has been having with her back and hips, that I figured was coming from the old worn out recliner that she had. I would definitely buy this chair again… But mostly for myself. :-)

Great chair, so glad I purchased this. I fell and hurt my back this chair was a big help. Works great and very comfortable.Now I use it everyday day as a very comfortable chair, that if needed helps me lift up. Also love that when it reclines its electric so no pushing on the leg part to get it back up.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this recliner for my husband’s bday , i assembled it following the instructions properly, after assembly we tried it, we pushed the recline button, the chair went up, i pushed the down button so the chair will go down, but still it went up, doesnt go down, now its stuck in upward position, buttons doesnt work. I called amazon and they told me that since its from a third party vendor i need to contact the vendor, simon the dreamer, i did, i told them the problem and told them i think its the cable connected to the recline button thats the one not working and they said they will send a new set of cable. so i said ok will try that, then i received a remote control. i told them the remote control works but it doesnt have the control for the chair to recline, the remote only controls the massage and the heat. Then they said sorry because they send a different cable. I told them just give me my money back, and they told me they will try to send the right cable this time around. So i told them ok again cause i really wanted this chair to work. And so i received another cable, this time they sent me the power cable, which i dont understand why they cant understand me when i keep telling them the recliner button at the side of the armchair thats the one not working. The power cable works, because when i connect the remote control the massage and the heat works, but it wont recline, its stuck in upward position. So now im writting this review because im tired of trying to explain to them that the recliner they delivered to me is damaged, not working and until now they havent returned my money. They dont want to replace it so they keep on giving me cables but still the chair wont work. I want my money back amazon, simon the dreamer.

Easy to assemble although directions are terrible....lol.Bought because my wife was scheduled fir back surgery. Helps her getting up from the chair while she is recovering.But also very comfortable just using as a recliner
