NorthsideWomen's Mariani Slide Sandal

this is my first pair of shoes in this style, and these do not disappoint. especially for $20! i bought the tan style in a size 9. i wear a solid 8 in every other (normal) shoe, but i bought 9s because of everyone reviewing these with “these are too small!” to be honest, i think i would have been ok with an 8. i had to tighten the straps because the sandals are big, but they’re wearable and i love them :) they do seem TRUE TO SIZE though. * i would definitely size up if you’re a half size! * they’re not the comfiest or the lightest, but they’re cute and will get the job done. these also aren’t as green as shown in the image, which i really like. i included photos to use as a size guide. will update if anything goes wrong

I tried a different brand. Just not the same. Ordered these again. This is the fourth pair in this brand.

Daughter is a lifeguard and wanted some "Firks" to wear at poolside so that she didn't have to worry about ruining expensive shoes in the wet environment. Very pleased with these. She found them comfortable (they did make a slight farting sound for the first day and a half, but resolved quickly) and they look great, especially for the cost.They're real leather upper, though they are fabric-lined. So they do stretch, but maybe not as much as the 100% suede uppers of the name brand. She started with them buckled tightly, as one would with the "real" ones, and they have loosened to a perfect fit.If you're accustomed to the name brand, these may not satisfy. But I paid less than 25% of the cost of those name brand ones, and they're at least 75% as comfortable, according to my daughter. So good value. If you have a child that's still growing, these are totally worth it. i don't think they'll last as long as the name brand, but if they outgrow them in a season, why pay that much anyway?

I wear a 9.5 size shoe. Ordered a size 10 because i was afraid 9 would be too small.The 10 is just a little too large. I tried adjusting the buckles but couldn't get as comfortable as I'd like to be. The footbed hurts my foot too. I bought another brand on Amazon about 6 months ago. They were getting a little flat after wearing every day for 6 months, so I was trying to replace them. These aren't going to be a good replacement though, not comfy enough. I'll give them away, i already wore them a few days so can't return them.

I bought these for my 16 year old who loves them. She said they were very popular shoes at her school right now.

First let me say that I think these sandals are adorable. I had a pair just like them a few summers ago, I threw them away when they got too worn out and then could never find another pair that were quite the same style. I love everything about these shoes aesthetically. Per other reviews, I ordered a half size up because most people said they run a little small. I usually wear a 9.5 so I ordered a 10. Now that I have them, I definitely could've ordered a size 9 and been fine. I also was tightening the straps because I like for them to be a little bit more snug on my feet, the buckle feels very cheap. Like if it would've taken any more effort to unbuckle them I feel like it would've broken right off. I do like them though, they need to be broken in because they are a little stiff at the moment, but overall I do still like them a lot.

I love these sandals, and I have gotten so many compliments on them already! They are super cute and comfortable. Flip flops really hurt my feet so this was a great little purchase right before summer. I am able to walk to class and back with no problems. As for the sizing, I was a little bit weary because of all the reviews. I am typically a size 6. Because of the reviews I was going to go up to a 7, but they did not have them available in the color I wanted. So, I took a risk and went with the 6. They fit, but it was a perfect fit, there is no extra room. They also run a little bit wide, so if I had gone up to a 7 they probably wouldn't stay on my foot as well. They run a little small but to me it's not a whole size off. I compared them to my Nikes (size 6) and it's a little bit smaller. So if you are a half size or prefer a little extra room I would suggest going up, but if not the sizing isn't dramatically smaller.

These are super cheap and cute. The suede is soft and not stinky. The heels are padded, which is great because my heels have been hurting lately. They are very comfortable. The sizing was accurate for me. I'll have to see what other shoes Northside offers!**UPDATE** I've worn these for about a week now and deducted a star due to the shoes constantly making a suction sound when I walk! I thought it would have gone away after breaking them in, but it hasn't stopped and it is really annoying. Another thing that I didn't realize at first is that they make a sound (like something is sticking to the floor, but nothing is on the bottoms) when walking in the tiled halls of my school, so I won't be wearing these in certain places. You can't hear it on concrete and I didn't hear it on my hardwood floors. Very strange. Other than that, I still like them.

At first I was super disappointed in the service. The sandals said they were shipped and then put on hold on 3 separate occasions. Took almost 4 weeks to be delivered. I almost decided to get cancel but I'm glad I didn't (wasn't sure if it was COVID related as I received other orders without a problem). Aside from that, I'm a 7 and saw multiple reviews saying these were true to size, and they are!! I also have wide feet and these fit perfectly it feels like. Reviews seemed 50/50 about comfort, but I find them pretty soft and way more comfortable than I expected (especially considering the type of sandal). Overall, I'm really impressed with the comfort and quality. I'm glad I didn't cancel the order.

Second year that ive bought them, very comfortable, i wear as house shoe. Last about one year. Also purchased for husband and same for him.

I want to like this, but they are very narrow. I don't have wide feet, bit the width of these sandals is quite narrow, the sole digs into the inside of the middle of my foot on the side. It has left my skin very sore there. I have adjusted the straps but it doesn't help. If you have a very narrow foot this will likely work for you. If it didn't rub my skin, I would give these a great review because they are comfortable and offer great support.

The absolute WORST sandals. I'm foot arch where the strap is attached is so rigid it is pushing into my arch causing extreme pain. The cork is hard as nails! I bought these a few months ago for a trip. Left them accidentally at home. Heading on another trip soon. Thought I'd break them in by wearing them around the house. Not a single thing could break in these shoes. My right food is in complete agony. I do not recommend these shoes.
