MerrellMen's Moab 3 Mid Hiking Boot

This weekend, I hiked 11 miles in these boots through wet ravines, creek crossings, over rocks and roots, and along overgrown dirt trails. These provided me great traction, dry feet, plenty of support over uneven ground, and breathability in the heat. The soles are just firm enough to provide the support I need, yet flexible enough to keep each step natural. The shoe uppers is very soft, comfortable and lightweight. The boots really didn't need any breaking in before their first hike. I expected them to rub on the ankle bones like other mid-height boots I've used. But these felt incredibly comfortable the first time I wore them. This weekend, I noticed that my toes were sliding against the front of the shoes on steep downhills. However, I tightened the lacing when I stopped for lunch and I didn't have any problem the rest of the day.I was able to get these on sale at a great price. But even at full price, these are a great boot.Edit: I just completed 40 miles of backcountry hiking in Yellowstone with these boots and I couldn't be more happy with them! From river crossings, miles of bison trails through grassy meadows, steep ups and downs on dirt and loose rock, and averaging 10 miles per day, these were perfect in every sense. No blisters. Everything I said in the original review held true.

Crazy thing is I had two pairs sent to me through the Amazon Wardrobe thing. One pair grey, the others brown. Identical except in color. Not sure how but it turned out great.The brown ones were super tight and uncomfortable. The grey ones fit amazingly well. The difference in the two was night and day. I double checked they were both the same size, model, etc. and they were. I can’t explain why there is such a difference but I kept the grey ones. Couldn’t be happier.

Merrells are about the best shoe I've ever worn for work. If you work outside, construction or even restaurant they are great. Waterproof, amazing grip and traction and the comfort is unrivaled. They are warm in winter but not hot in summer. I love them even more now that they've expanded their designs and styles to meet any type of shoe. Business, pleasure, comfort, Merrell def got you covered..

These shoes needed no breaking in. They were comfortable right out of the box. I bought the Moab 2 regular hiking shoes several months prior to these. I liked them, so bought these boots when they were on sale. These are my first Merrells, so I went to a local shoe store to try on different models. I'm glad I did, because the Moab 2 and 3 were the only ones that fit my feet well. My feet are a bit wide in the front and the other models were all too tight.

Shoes felt great. Unfortunately, I could not find my size. I first tried my shoe size 12W. Way too big, I could fit an entire finger behind my heel. Returned for a 10.5W (Amazon recommended a 10, not sure what they based it on). My toe came just to the edge of the shoe. When I went to try and return for an 11W, they didn't have my color listed for that size.When I had the shoes here to try on, they felt great. I do plan on buying them in my size and the color I want based on how they felt from trying them on.

Shoes felt already broke in and very comfortable on my feet. Rubber soles are very flexible and provide good grip. I worked off of a ladder today to check the arch support and had no issues. My feet feel great so far and no complaints.

Amazing boot. Been on three hikes already and it's like I have worn them for years. Very comfortable and no rubbing or blisters. Wonderful!Will update if anything changes.

My husband likes them so well he bought another pair in a different color.

Mejor precio que en la misma pagina de merrell..yo uso 11.5 y pedí 12, Calculando tener comodidad en el sendero. Despues vi un tutorial en youtube que es exacto lo q tienes q hacer; debe quedar un dedo de amplitud en el zapato...Muy cómodos. ME LLEGARON 1 DIA ANTES ...AAA++++

Me encanto la calidad de las botas, el confort es muy bueno, el color fabuloso, pedí del 27.5 cm sin embargo se ven mas chicas, pero me quedan súper bien!!! Las recomiendo!
