Sounds way better than the Pyle junk you can get on amazon. Very good qaulity speakers for a heck of a low price! Nice and loud and with plenty of bass. This can actually handle full volume off my stereo with "zero" distortion. Do yourself a favor and buy them. You wont regret it.

Speakers went above expectations

Seem like good quality and well made. They sent black instead of the white i ordered. Returned.

I got these speakers because I wanted to add a second pair of speakers to my boat, specifically in the bow area where it is very difficult to hear the existing speakers. The sound quality of these is pretty decent. They weren't very expensive so I knew I wasn't getting some high end product but they are as good or better than the pair that came with the boat. Build quality appears good and they have already gotten wet one or two times without issue so I know they are weather proof. I was tempted to just trace a circle on the area where mounted them and cut it free hand but found the exact sized hole saw needed for less than $15 on Amazon so I ordered that instead and cut a perfect hole rather risking making a mess. The speakers came with speaker wire and mounting screws, both of which I used. One speaker, because of its close proximity to the radio only used about 5 feet of wire, the other I had to splice with another piece of wire since it had to go almost all the way around the boat. For what I paid for these speakers I'm quite pleased with the sound quality

Great value for the money!

I was able to install these 5.5 inch boat speakers in place of the same size originals on an older model Toyota Corolla, but I ended up having to do away with the stock speaker mountings first. The screw holes for these new speakers were slightly misaligned with the receiving holes for my old ones, but I already knew I was going to be gambling whether or not my car had 5 or 5 1/2 inch speakers to begin with anyways, so I'm just glad I was able to end up mounting them securely enough with only a minimal amount of customization needed.The magnets on these new speakers are much larger than on my old ones, and they sound much louder too, so even though I'm not an audiophile by any means I can still tell they are obviously much better than my former speakers, and I have definitely been satisfied enough to start them off with a 5 star rating for now. I got these to install on a side by side and ended up actually mounting them inside the front electronics area so don't have pictures of the finished product. However, they are loud enough that it still sounds great sitting in the seats with the speakers behind the dash.They come with plenty of speaker wire so much that I only used about five feet and had to zip tie up the rest just in case.There are two in this set and have more capability for watts than my system can push out.The seal on the back is very easy to tear so you have to be careful pulling the backing off all at once. I would pull off just enough to stick it and then work it the rest of the way. For my application it didn't really matter as I just installed mine on a 3/8" piece of plywood.Overall, I think these are worth the price for two of them and the fact they are waterproof is just that much more of a plus.
