Works better starting with a dry cloth.
These are good. Way, way better than those thin things that came with my Swiffer. The Swiffer pads are too thin and just kind of make a wet mess and I usually just ended up using a paper towel to clean away streaks and lines.I ordered these (and another set of re-usable pads) to try them out. For 3 pads, the price is great. Now that I've had a chance to try these out, I might end up ordering more to put aside. I'm just waiting to see how the other pads work.Right out of the packaging, these are not as thick as I expected. They fit my Swiffer perfect - no over hang or looseness. I tested 2 of the pads on 2 different floors so that I could see how they worked. This is how that went:First test = I used a dry pad, sprayed my disinfectant onto the flooring, and mopped it. That worked pretty well. There were no streaks and lines of dirt to clean up.Second = I rinsed the used pad with clear water and rung it dry as I could. I sprayed then mopped the other floor. This time there were some lines of dirt that I had to go back over and clean up with a paper towel. However, the floor got a lot cleaner than with a Swiffer pad. What I have decided is, since I have 3 pads, is to always start with a dry pad to mop. That just works better. I love that these don't leave behind any water, They really are absorbent & I like that they aren't to thick to store away easily. I'm rinsing them and letting them dry on a rack in my bathroom closet until ready to use again. By the way, they wring out really well even by hand. Can't wait to see how many uses I get out of these until they need to be replaced.I'm attaching some photos so others can see the size compared to the Swiffer dry pads.

Earth AND wallet friendly!
I am a self-confessed swiffer addict, but with daily sweeping due to living in a tiny apartment with furry pets and messy dirty children I was starting to feel really guilty about all of the waste my daily swiffer use was generating. I didn't exactly appreciate the hit to my wallet, either, so I decided to try these reusable cloths. I figured the price was low enough that if they didn't work well it wouldn't be a great loss. Luckily, I LOVE these cloths! One cloth takes care of the whole house, and I'm of the opinion that they actually pick up and hold more dirt and dust than the actual swiffer disposable cloths. One cloth takes care of the whole apartment, whereas I would usually wind up using 2 of the disposable cloths to get the job done. These bad boys come out of the wash good as new, too, and have survived multiple washings so far and are still in great shape. I ended up buying a second pack of these, and all 6 last me a week of sweeping (and then some). The difference between these cloths and a plain old microfiber towel is that they are cut perfectly to fit the swiffer sweeper. They couldn't be easier to use, and I couldn't be more pleased with this product.

Great alternative to disposable sheets!
Once my broken brain finally figured out how these went on ( yes, I realize it's not rocket science, but sometimes I'm pretty stupid) I am pleased with the result. They pick up dust and other crumbs that don't make it into my swifter vac and judging by how dirty they are each time, they are a bit more effective than the disposable sheets. However, the only drawback I can find is that they do not glide as well on certain surfaces. If you had older hard wood floors that weren't perfectly smooth ,they might get hung up on certain areas. I found that they simply won't glide at all across my memory foam kitchen mats. Oh well, I simply take the weight off the machine and glide them across without applying pressure and it works fine. These are cost effective, useful and good quality. I will continue to use them, rather than wasting money on the disposable ones.

These are fantastic!
I decided to give these a try as an alternative to the disposable expensive swiffer wet pads. I am beyond pleased that I purchased these after some research of similar products. They fit my swiffer wet mop (the bright green one that you can use wet or dry). The way I use these is I spray my floors with Simple Green and then also dampen the cloth once it's secure and taught on the swiffer. This glides across my hardwood and linoleum with no problems. The amount of pet hair, crumbs, dirt, etc that this cloth picks up and holds on to is pretty good. When I'm finished with them I pull off the excess hair (got 3 cats) and give it a quick rinse in the sink to get any other gross stuff off and then throw in the washer. I've been using these about 2x a week for about 6 months and have had absolutelt no problem with them. They have held up great- no fraying, no fading or stains even, they look brand new still. I recommend these to everyone all the time. This is just a really great quality product. Super happy with my purchase!

Too Dark
I bought these in 2014 and have been using them along with the Swifter brand refills. They work great and have not shown any degradation. The reason I gave them just 3 stars is because the color is dark so I am unable to determine if they are dirty. I would recommend getting a set of lighter colored pads.

PERFECT for Damp-mopping or Water-mopping Your Floors!
These are *perfect* for wet mopping or water mopping your floor using the the Swiffer Sweeper!I bought these because while I use the Swiffer Sweeper with the Swiffer wet refills on my vinyl and tile floors, I'm really particular about what I use on my hardwood floors. Often I want to just water-mop my hardwood floors, or use a bit of homeade, gentle cleaner on them.So when I saw these, I was really hoping that they would be the solution (no pun intended) to wanting to use the Swiffer Sweeper (which is soooo easy and maneuverable!) to mop, but not using their wet refills. My concern was that some microfiber materials don't hold water at all - it just beads up on the fabric - and that would make it useless for mopping. So I was beyond thrilled when I opened the package, took one of the microfiber refills out, and ran it under the faucet, and it got completely wet! :-)I wrang it out, put it on my Swiffer Sweeper, and voila! Perfectly damp-mopped hardwood floors! (see pictures - note that one picture is showing the wet refill after being used, to show that it works! :-) )These refills fit perfectly, work perfectly, and at just $12.95 for *3*, what a bargain!
