Q: Is it normal for the tablets to have a bad smell??

They do smell bad. With that said, if by some chance you have the same issues I was having, I highly recommend you try the capsules instead. After 3 GI docs told me I wouldn't get better, my GP recommended I try the capsules. The capsules were helping me. I ordered the tablets by mistake, and noticed I was I started getting a lot worse. I started back on the capsules and after a few months, I was cured of my issues. I don't take anything now. What started out as an H. Pylori infection, turned into a HORRIBLE acid reflux problem. The capsules along with Align Probiotics cured me. No Nexium or Omeprezal needed.

I prefer the capsules, tablets I exchanged due to their size. And they didn’t seem to be as soluble, so capsules are best for me
