Invicta INVICTA-2961 Women's 2961 Pro Diver Collection "Lady Abyss" Two-Tone Dive Watch

I LOVE this watch!! I bought this model last year and have had no problems with it whatsoever. Invicta watches are extremely well-made, at least in my experience, and most are quite inexpensive (well under $75) on Amazon. These are solid, classic, functional, beautiful diver's watches with a dressy twist. I actually have 2 because the first one didn't have quite enough contrast btwn the hands and the face to be easily read at a glance, but that was my personal preference, not Invicta's mistake. They're so inexpensive I didn't hesitate to buy the same model with a different color face/bezel. I wear this 24/7, including while showering and swimming, with NO leaking or fogging (a watch that's not waterproof isn't worth having, IMO!) The crystal is scratch-free after 8 months. The band was quite large, so I adjusted it myself with a $10 watch repair kit from Amazon; it's not difficult, just work carefully and pay attention! I was concerned that I might not be able to get the right fit because the links are pretty large, but I removed 1 link from one side and 2 links from the other, and the fit is perfect. (NOTE: if you adjust the links yourself, pay close attention to the direction the pins are inserted. They're unidirectional, so if you take one out and put in back in from the other direction, you might not be able to get it out again. I made that mistake, and in frustration broke off one end of the pin, but that link has stayed intact.) I also like the fact that the watch back screws on/off, instead of pops off, making DIY replacing the battery easy (with the tool that's included in a watch repair kit). I can't recommend Invicta watches enough; they're a real bargain at the prices Amazon sells them for. I have no doubt that they're genuine Invictas, not "fakes" as some have claimed.

If you are looking for something elegant, and classic that gives that "old money" asthetic you might really like this watch. I love watches that take their inspiration from the Rolex Submariner, because to tell the truth, even if I had Bill Gates money I wouldnt spend over $1000 on a watch. Granted this Invicta is not heirloom quality, and is not even in the ballpark of the build quality of a Rolex...but I believe I paid $40 for it on sale, and Invicta is a solid brand, the looks and attention to styling details are impeccable at this price point...build quality is decent and for $40 lets be real, even if it only lasts 2 or 3 years, you more than got your money's worth. Especially when it looks so good, it makes you feel like a million bucks when you wear it. Thats where the real value is to me. By the way, the light blue mother of pearl face is absolutely gorgeous in person. Treat yo'self!

I really love my new watch. My husband got it for me off my wishlist because of the water resistance. I at least like to be able to wear my watches in the pool and ocean. I came across Invicta and decided to give it a try. The watch looks more expensive than it was, very classy and sharp. The hands glow in the dark and the date is easily visible bc it is magnified. I love the blue color and the mixed metals. It clasps into place around my wrist and has a little extra snap lock. I had to take it to the watch shop in the mall to get some links removed and the man said this is a wonderful brand, that Invicta watches are Russian diving watches. Sir, where are they diving in Russia?? I got a laugh. Anyway, I like this brand so far and would love more watches from Invicta! I’ll update with water resistance quality after our rainy season trip to Costa Rica.

Love the look of this watch for the price. Someone asked if I had a rolex on ?! Very pretty but difficult to read the face of the watch with the pearl background. Wish the hands were luminous but for the price its a great deal. I use mine while swimming lengths and so far so good. Only doing a half hr to see if it holds.

Beautiful abalone/black pearl dial but substantial heavy duty watch...need to be prepared for a bigger, heavier watch. This style is very nice, feels way more expensive than it's price and looks amazing. Not a dive watch as it's not certified pressurized for diving but it may, or may not, do well for snorkeling and free diving to about 25 ft. Need a watch with bare minimum 200 meter rating for scuba diving. Swimming, snorkeling and showers with no hot water directly on the watch. Means no Jacuzi with it on. Salt water use requires a good soaking and cleaning with fresh water. The stem doesn't screw down. This is the telltale sign of a more definitive dive watch. Snorkel with care. If you just want a watch that looks good and can handle some rougher use this might work and the price point means you won't cry too hard if it doesn't hold up. Use with discretion.

A gift for my petite wife, the size is good for her wrist. Waterproof to 100m, but not a dive watch (not a twist down crown). The band length gross adjustment is done by removing links; fine adjustments are somewhat possible by adjusting the position of the clasp attachment points to the band. Purchase a watchmakers tool kit....you will need the precision tools to remove/add links to the band, and to someday unscrew the back to replace the battery......the battery should be good for several years, but who knows how long the watch sat on the shelf running? (as the battery is factory installed).
