I had a chipmunk inside the house, who knows how, but I needed to get it out before my indoor cats eliminated it themselves. I also did not want it harmed but couldn't spend a lot of money. When this trap arrived in the mail & I checked it out, I doubted that it would work & was it even large enough to trap a chipmunk even though the description about the product said it could? However since it was only a matter of time before the poor critter died of starvation or became a new toy for my cats, I had to order something that would arrive quickly & was inexpensive. It was very simple to use so I put a few of my black oiled sunflower birdseeds in the tiny attached cup & set the trap. My cats had let me know earlier where the little one had gone so I shoved it under the piece of furniture, truly not expecting to have luck the next morning but.......SUCCESS!! This product does all it says it will if used for & how suggested by seller. PLUS you get two traps for a low price & I received it in 3 days:) Now the uninjured chipmunk is back outside far away from our outdoor cats, actually ran up a tree when released. Love happy endings.

Item arrived quickly. Easy to set up and empty. I started catching mice the first night I put peanut butter with a little bird seed in it. So far I have caught 6 mice and 1 chipmunk. The trap is small - the chipmunk barely fit inside and could not even turn around.

Best one!!! I've used another brand for years (the green ones), but the back is so hard to get open, plus they don't last long because the release latch stops working after a few catches. This release latch is much better because it's at the TOP, so the mouse can't chew on it, etc. The back door is also sooooo much easier to open -- just turn the little button -- the other ones you have to press a certain way to lift it up and it always took me multiple tries. I'm VERY happy with this new/better design and I recommend!

I am very please with the effectiveness of this product! I have caught several mice since using it. As advertised, it's very easy to use, clean, and a great value. I like the black color of the trap because it would not be easy to other mice to see what's inside. I highly recommend this product in fact I just ordered another set and arriving today!

Every now and then mice make their presence known in the house, but I'm too much of a softy to use the old fashioned traps on them. These work really well, just put a dab of peanut butter on the bait tray, arm the trapdoor, and set them where you've seen mouse activity.So far these traps have resulted in three suitably chastened mice patiently awaiting their release into the woods behind my house.

Wish they were just a little longer, tail got stuck in the door. But works.

We set it out around midnight and the mouse was caught the next morning. We used a little peanut butter at the end of the trap. We released the mouse at a park in a wooded area away from home. Easy to use and fast success, and the mouse was totally fine! Clean up was also a breeze and now we have them if we get another uninvited guest.

these work great - easy to use and effective. Even caught a chipmunk! Thought they were too small for that but nope - be sure to check regularly, can't always see what's inside, particularly when it's a small vole or mouse.
