Effective and easy
Effective. I have a 20000 gallon pool in Florida. I put one of these in every March and am good for another year. I get the mustard algae bloom. This knocks it out almost instantly. You can see it working. Then one good vacuum and I'm good to go. So easy. Thanks.

If your copper levels are not super elevated then I recommend the original.
The booster didn't perform like the original, but still works decently.

Awesome product - highly recommend
My friend told me about this 3 years ago. I have used it at the beginning of the season and it has cut down on chemicals dramatically. I have a very large salt water pool and, besides the required salt, I only spent $68 on chemicals the entire season. No algae and sparkling clean pool all summer. Every time I went to the store to get my water checked they said I was all good. Excellent purchase and highly recommend. Will use the beginning of each pool season for years to come.

Booster is not effective
The original that comes with the copper piece worked excellent. The booster did not make a difference in this case. Should have bought the one with the copper piece again
