Very thin material, but pan is working when handled carefully
I purchased this pan because it says it has ceramic coating, which I prefer since many non-stick coatings peel off after some time and are toxic. Now this pan's coating looks very thin and it had a few scratches already when it arrived. The pan itself is also quite thin and one has to be careful that the food won't get burnt. The heat isn't distributed evenly, that makes the appam in the middle cook more fast that those on the sides. The plastic handles are very small and fragile and become too hot, so that I have to hold them with a kitchen towel to avoid burning my hand. Being careful about all these things I have been able to prepare tasty appam which have been appreciated. For this price and for beginners the pan is okay.
