The belt is comfortable and does a good job with pressure in the right spot.But the bulge of padding on the outside is visible from the front. This small padding on the front does not serve a support function. I cut off the padding bulge on the outside. Then, I cut a piece of plastic in a triangle shape of the foam padding I removed. The pocket inside the belt is very good. I inserted the plastic I cut and the foam pad from the outside to the inside. There is much less of a bulge and better support at a lower profile.

Large pad made a big difference from the last one I purchased. Better wrap around and under strap. So pleased with this model. Dealing with medical issues beyond hernia so no surgery. Much pain relief from this harness.

The heavy elastic material was bulky and did not fit well under my pants and tended to ride up.The pressure pocket did not seem to stay in place.I don't know, but It seems that a brace made similar to jockey strap design and material would be more comfortable.If I ordered a medium rather than a large for this brace, It may have fit better.The brace was priced at the lower end, so I should not have been surprised.
