American Kennel Club Anti Anxiety and Stress Relief Calming Coat for Dogs, Extra Large, Pink

It is okay and it definitely works, but I regret not buying a larger size. My dog is small, but I should have brought the medium. It runs small, that's for sure. Other than that, it's great.

My dog absolutely loves this! We actually need to buy her another one since she doesn’t want to take this off. My only issue is that the velcro on the front should be flipped. The velcro is sticking to her sweaters due to the hard velcro going the wrong say

My Dachshund has separation anxiety along with everything else that deals with being alone, she also hates loud noises. We have tried calming treats and they would only get us out the door. She isn't a big fan of wearing anything but she lets us put this on her because she knows it helps. I have to order one size down because she is right in between sizes. But this works great.

I know every dog is different, but for our dog this helped immensely. He has developed a terrible fear of thunder, fireworks, & other loud noises as he's gotten older. We put this on him before dark as we anticipated fireworks that evening (holiday). He literally slept right through them!! Nothing short of a miracle for our family.

I have an 90lb Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is literally a big baby scared of her own shadow and any sudden loud noises. She will have insane panic attacks where she hyperventilates, shakes, pants, paces, hides in closets or bath tubs and will last for hours even after the noise is done. We recently had a carbon monoxide detector battery alert send her into an episode. But of course the week before and after 4th of July is the worst. We try everything from prescription drugs, CBD oil etc. and nothing works. I decided to purchase this product which I will link below and attach pictures. Let me tell you I honestly thought I was going to waste my $35 bucks. But the reviews on there were amazing so I thought WTH. Anyhow this past week, she (my dog) was not phased at all by the fire works, I wanted to wait until after last night to post my real review of this product before I share it. HOLY COW, my neighborhood was shooting loud and crazy amounts of fireworks (more then in the past) 😡 and she sat at the top of the stairs in her comfort spot and laid there most of the night calm as can be. I did not give her CBD or meds either, tho they were on hand. Not once did she freak out. NO PANTING, NO SHAKING, NO HIDDING, She even went out side to pee with no problem. In the past she would hold it all night. This product was life changing.I can’t guarentee this will work for outside dogs. My dog is inside all the time except for walks, sunbathing or play time outside and potty trips.Calming vest for dogs. Worth EVERY PENNY!It’s a thin cotton material, strong Velcro straps. She actually gets upset when we take it off her. She loves it as much as I do. For reference this is an extra large vest and my girl is a BIG FAT GIRL and the XL was huge but is easy to adjust and tighten to her size. I want one in every color for her now!

I would like to start with... I ordered this specific anxiety shirt because of the pictured light pink colored shirt advertised. I did not want anything too flashy. Needless to say I received some bright pink fushia colored shirt. On the flip side I do have to say the anxiety shirt seemed to help my pup during our travels this weekend. She did not seem near as anxious as she has in the past.

I bought this in hopes that it would completely cover my pups belly after surgery. Unfortunately, it is not designed in such a way to use for my purpose. Had to return.

The newest member of our extended family is a very young yellow lab/hound mix named Louie. What he lacks in self control and manners he makes up for in happiness and joy. He is bright and cheerful guy who was obviously abandoned because of his severe separation anxiety. My parents adopted him from the local animal control not realizing he possessed the ability to chew his way out of a metal frame crate and shred a six foot rag rug to pieces in just under 45 minutes. Needless to say we are working on him with crate training, obedience and also starting him on anti-anxiety medications, but until then we wanted to try things like pheromone collars and pressure wrap vests.I honestly picked this wrap against the name brand Thunder Shirt simply because it could ship to my house the next day. The wrap fit okay. Louie is the perfect weight for his size (40 pounds) and per the measurement chart I ordered him a medium. The wrap fit well, but seemed to be too short on his torso (we have a name brand Thunder Shirt for a senior dog that is way too big for Louie, but on our senior dog it goes all the way down to his tail). As soon as Louie walked in to our house I put the pressure wrap on him, hoping it would curb some of his anxiety of being away from my parents for the day (he even has anxiety if he is away from home, but still with other people).Louie's reaction to this compression vest was complete indifference. The very second my Dad walked out my front door he started harassing our youngest Aussie and begging to be let out in the backyard (he can see my parents' house, his house, from my backyard). I let him outside and he immediately tried to get out of the coat by licking any part of his body that was covered. Once we all came back inside he discovered if he rubbed his back on his orthopedic bed he could loosen the velcro, so he spent a good thirty minutes trying to figure out if it was possible to undo velcro without hands.This compression coat seems to be pretty well made and we have an original Thunder Shirt to compare it to that we have used for years. After I read the directions this coat was easy to put on and adjust and even though I did not wash it, I'm guessing it launders the same way the Thunder Shirt does. Louie is just not a good candidate for this specific type of therapy. That said, we have had luck with compression shirts with other dogs. We had a senior dog who was terrified of the car and not particularly fond of vet visits, but once he had his compression shirt on, he did really well. We are starting to use one on our six year old Aussie for her thunderstorm and fireworks phobia and although it is not a magical cure, it does help ease her anxiety along with a loud fan.

Had some real trouble getting my youngest dog to relax lately, she stresses easily and starts to scratch us for attention... Not fun for any of us. Only had it a day and found it workes very well! She relaxed instantly.... But unfortunately after a couple of hours of wearing we found it had damaged her skin around the seams, we are now dealing with blisters and sore skin!! Although this is the right size for our dog it still pinches her skin!So over all not happy with the quality of the product and could probably make it myself from an old t-shirt, not worth the price tag. But the method of using a snug jacket to calm your dog works great!!

Realy helped my staffy/Akita she gets so upset with big noises, fireworks, banging car doors, thunder and lightning bless her didn't think it would help but I needed to try it, she has calm drops, we have the adaptol plugin, and with this she calms down instead of shaking it was so upsetting x

Arrived today fits well , hope it works !ThanksOne week later , puppy still stressful not sure if its working or not ?Or maybe its something that's going to take a long time ?.

Brilliant design and made really well but sadly it didn’t work for my dads dog who barks and gets very distressed easily

Lovely soft cotton, so breathable rather than nasty acrylic material. Good fit. Dog doesn't mind it. Have bought another.
