If you have studied French for some time but struggle to understand spoken French or to make yourself understood in France, this book is an enormous help. For the modest price it’s worth a year in a French course, even if you are studying spoken French with a tutor. Although the book may seem a bit thin, every topic has QR codes that direct you to more expanded lessons, including audio that gives you a real sense of the difference between academic French and French as it is actually spoken. As a longtime, sometimes frustrated, student of French I cannot give this book anything but the highest praise.

This book is aimed at the Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate learner and is absolutely excellent. The quality is very good, the explanations are clear and the audio via QR codes are perfect for pronunciation and exercises. I cannot recommend highly enough for those wanting to move to the next level. Looking forward to subsequent volumes. Well done Jean-Baptiste!
