This had such a timely arrival! The same day this arrived, my daughter had JUST happened to watch an episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood ("Daniel Finds Something To Do"; season 4, episode 1) where Daniel Tiger's mom was using tools to fix a broken part of a stage. I think it was a great inspirational episode right before an activity like this.My daughter did this activity by putting the screws in, first, and needed some guidance (as would be expected) to discover which tools to use for which screw. The next morning, she decided to take them all out and she did it entirely by herself! (...with the one exception being that I needed to reverse the screwdriver head to the Philip's-head side when she got to that screw.) This was a perfect activity for her, it kept her very engaged, provided just the right amount of challenge, developed her motor skills, and gave her a sense of accomplishment.Pros: Develops skills in concentration, reasoning, fine motor skills, and confidence-building. Perfect size for an activity like this, utilizes a lot of different tool types, the tools work well for young children, and is good quality, overall. I really love this toy!Cons: the lid doesn't fit *perfectly* and requires a tiny nudge back to allow the latch to go through the hole. (My daughter is easily capable of doing this on her own, so it isn't an issue.)Would I recommend this toy: Yes, absolutely!

My son is fascinated with bolts, nails, washers, screws and the tools that you use to tighten loosen these items. When I came across this kit, I knew that I would make a great gift for him. Playing with this has definitely helped out with his dexterity and motor skills. He understands the saying, "righty tighty and lefty loosey". I like how everything fits compactly within the little wooden box and it has a stray to carry it around with. Solid gift!

We love this busy box!!! Its small size is great for travel…. Ease of use and bright lights are fun for kids of all ages. Does have a lot of smaller parts! Great functionality in helping with eye hand coordination!

My grand kids love that they can carry the box around like a purse and that all the tools are their size.

The box was ripped and looked like it had been previously opened. It doesn’t appear used. Just thought the presentation would be better.

Our 3 year old grandson has recently developed a love for nuts, bolts and screws! I was thrilled to discover this for his birthday, and he carried it around all day! I love that all the pieces easily store inside the box, and the latch stays securely closed. I was also pleasantly surprised that the screws and tools were made of real metal rather than plastic, so this should last forever. Each screw head is different, and he loves figuring out which tool is right for the job. The carrying strap was genius, and he absolutely loves this thing! I did not find any metal shavings or splinters, so it is well made.

Our 3 year old grandson absolutely loves this this learning tool toy set. Made of strong wood with real screws and knobs and small tools. Perfect size for his small hands and stature.
