I'm sure if you didn't trim your hooks to take your doors off easier they may work better.They are constantly slipping off my hooks.

This item is perfect. I love how you can adjust to any length that you need. My original ones were super stretched out so I bought a pair of paracord ones that claimed they were shorter. That did not fix my problem either, but these did. There have been some extremely strong gusts of wind and these have held up perfectly. They were very quick to install. I wish they came in a few more colors, but other than that it is a great product.

These straps are nice & thick and are adjustable so that you can allow your Jeep door to swing open wide or lessen the opening for tight parking spots. Great value too!

Way too short

For starters, you need to carefully remove the door panels on your YJ to get access to the star bolts on the strap hardware. Once off, you'll see that the straps are slightly wider then the originals. What's nice is you can adjust how far the door swings open now. This is really helpful when you want to limit the doors swinging open in parking lots. The stock straps and doors will open wide enough to easy dent or ding a car. You can keep them from swinging wider while running errands, or slip a few loops down so they fully open on the train. These are a nice upgrade that look stock and add some usability to the existing doors.

This set of heavy duty door limit straps for all models of Jeep Wrangler are an upgrade look to OEM door straps. Stitching on the straps appears to be top notch. Straps are also adjustable to allow door openings to suit your needs. Installation is simple and quick!
