We are very satisfied with our purchase. We have a German Shepherd Husky mix who is almost 2 and a Long haired German Shepherd who just turned 1. They both can slip their collars. They cannot slip this lead. It is very nice and sturdy. Very well made. Wish there was more colors. We chose the grey for both. Perfect length. We like to go to area’s where there is little to no people and let them run free. And, if people do come it’s very nice to just be able to slip the lead over their head instead of messing around with trying to find the D ring on their collars. I do tuns of research when I go to buy anything. These slip leads gave me everything I was looking for (except color). Price, quality, size and the soft texture. If you are going back and forth about buying it, just buy it. You won’t be sorry. Very satisfied customer. Thank you very much!

Seems strong and I like the colors but some reviews mentioned it being soft. Not as soft as I desired but softer than my nylon based ones.Will work fine.

This is by far the best leash I have ever used. Originally I purchased the 5/8 in gray and like it so much I bought a second in orange (for night walking) The 5/8" gives you great control and being cotton it's soft and won't dig in or burn you with a hard pulling critter. The metal stopper works perfect if you need it. Once set it will not move and prevents the leash from chocking your pup if it pulls or takes off in a run. I opted to remove mine because I need maximum chock to control my 80lb beast. She walks perfectly but goes ballistic when she sees another dog and this leash makes it easy to control her without hurting my hand.Beautiful, strong, comfortable and looks great, it's simply the beeeeest!

very good price for a cotton slip lead. it feels much better on your hand than the nylon ones, especially if your dog needs some leash discipline, which it probably does if you're using a slip lead. it's braided well and seems all-around solid quality. the baby blue color is easy on the eye but stands out enough to where you won't lose it. unfortunately it'll probably shrink or tighten if exposed to the rain, though even if it does it'll only cost you $10 for another one. worth every penny.

I bought this leash for my 13 lb. Mini Goldendoodle. She is quite shy and a little scared when we go to places she is not familiar or comfortable with, and that is when the extreme and non-stop pulling starts and does not finish lol. So I looked up online some ways to help her with that fear. I would suggest that if you have a dog like mine who pulls because she is afraid of her surroundings, that you take the time to do some research and help your dog become more comfortable. This leash is an excellent tool for just that. It has a special "S" hook that allows the leash to be used as a regular style slip leash AND a gentle leader (or head halter). It is VERY comfortable around my dog's muzzle and head. It does not restrict your dog from moving/opening it's mouth as it normally does, nor does it cause your dog any pain. It is just as I noted, it can become a "head halter" if you know how to use the "S" hook in order to make it that way. So this leash, for me, is dual purpose and I LOVE it! It's also a perfect length too :) I highly recommend!As a side note to the manufacturer: I LOVE the soft feel of this rope. I ordered other slip leads on Amazon and they were all VERY rough. Not yours! You chose a GREAT material :) I would really like to see an option for a slightly smaller thickness and also some more color options. I have a female dog and chose the grey, but a pink or burgandy, or some other "girl" tones would be wonderful!

Recieved damaged.. Looks sturdy but disappointed that the lead arrived frayed with tag not attached. Looks as if someone returned it and it was sent to me. I just hope it lasts as long as it should and doesn't fall apart due to the cuts in the leash. Fingers crossed.

Just too much leash. Good quality and color selection but the rope itself was too thick and cumbersome to hold in my hand. I liked the little gadget to convert this leash into a haultie with control on dogs neck vs muzzle. If the rope was a bit thinner, I’d keep it.

I went from my dog walking me and pulling all over the place. With this my dog listens, waits and this makes walks easy. Highly recommend!

The leash I received did not come with the stopper as advertised and I was extremely disappointed with that since it’s the only reason I bought this. After using it for 3 days, I noticed that the hardware slides way too easily and doesn’t stay in place, so you’d have to constantly adjust it on your walks to make sure your dog doesn’t slip out of it.

Strong material, sturdy as well but well worth every penny.We purchased this rope lead as recommended by our Canine Trainer Behaviour Consultant, and it does the job prety well.Right length, easy adjustable loop.Gray colour, our Max adjusted relly well to this.Good value purchase, good quality!

The slip ring is far too small so it doesn’t release from around the neck as it should.

Good lead allows me to control very boisterous boxer dog. The lead has two stop points which means it can't get too tight around dogs neck and other stops it becoming to loose. You do need to set these points yourself depending on size of dog but this takes seconds and once done that's it. I have been using this for over a month now with no problems I did buy a different one prior to this and it started fraying within a week so I am very pleased with this one.👍🏻

This has made a huge difference to the behaviour of our 8 month German Shep. He is calmer and much more controlled on this lead than he has been with anything else we have tried before. Although we didn't really know what we were doing so initially we were using it just as a slip leash (duh!). Using the loop over his snout made all the difference!He's 36kg so we opted for the thickest one available and it's perfect for him.Highly recommend if you have a reactive doggo, it really does help!
