After looking at this 1 person version over and over since February I decided to bite the bullet and go for it, when I saw it was on offer. Over the moon. Clearly I need to get better at pitching it, but that's a me problem. Stable even with my poor pitch! Surprisingly spacious, enough room for me and gear easily. Fantastic vestibule, room for storage and cooking. I like having tie backs for the doors so they don't get in the way. The pegs are lightweight and straight with a small notch and take a bit of getting used to, angle them and you're golden. So quick to put away it's almost Criminal. Instructions were missing and I couldn't figure out how to put the tent up. Their's no poles. Very annoying as I needed the tent for backpacking in 2 days. Had to return the tent and go and buy a new one. Not happy

Used it in Yosemite this last week and it was a champ. Got up top to Dewey point and it was thunder, lightning and driving rain with 30mph winds. Didn't get a single drop on me. I thought I may have needed to seam seal it but turns out I didn't need to. It's a great design that just works.

I used it one night on my first solo backpacking trip ever. I set it up once at home to make sure I had all the parts.Any smaller and I would have been claustrophobic. I have a little claustrophobia so I left the fly open for awhile so I could see out. after awhile I closed it.Love the extra space. I guess you could sleep 2 people in it but you'd have to be very good friends. I think it's too small for 2.It worked perfectly. Sets up easy. I bent one stake but I was hammering into hard ground. I used a footprint I got here at Amazon, not sure which one, was less than $20.

This is the 3 FUL branded version with the full inner mesh. Roomy enough for me at 5' 11", 190#.If I had to get another I would probably go with the single wall version. The inner mesh doesn't prevent condensation, it just helps make you aware that you are close to touching the outer wall and, if the condensation is bad enough, helps prevent it from dripping on you. Had mine out in wet, humid and cold conditions & it never got to that point. The mesh also makes it harder to wipe the condensation off if you need to pack up early. Mine came seam sealed with tape. I saved a few bucks by getting red, not great for stealth camping but fine for me. Seems durable. I've pulled it very taunt with no problems. Overall I am very pleased with this tent.
