The Book of Burger

I originally checked this out at the library, but soon realized we'd need our own copy. Turns out burgers, sliders and sloppies are a great make ahead meal for nights we have soccer, basketball and/or scouts. I just mix up the topping and create that patties, then refrigerate and cook when we get home! We have enjoyed several of the more asian inspired options with the pickled veggies on top! Since we are trying to cut back on our meat intake, I've made the patties smaller than she recommends and can get 6-8 out of what she would divide into four patties. We love this cookbook.

I heard Rachel mention this on her show thinking it was a promo to increase sales years after the book was released. It caught my ear and I had to get it...Almost every recipe in this book is worth trying. This is my favorite cookbook I own!!!

First off, I read a review by someone who trashed Rachel Ray for putting out this book. To that person, I say this: go to Lowe's, buy a ladder and GET OVER IT! This book had tons of different burgers in it, not all beef. Ray shows some good creativity in making burgers from a wide variety of meats and foods, including meatless types. I'm not big on that, but I will be quite willing to try them. One doesn't have to like every single recipe. There are a couple in there I might not care for, but that's a very small percentage. Overall, I think the book is well worth it. Besides, I got it for my wife, and she's very happy with it, so that's a good investment. You know the saying, if Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. I like to keep "Mama" happy.

The Book of Burger is the perfect recipe book to have on hand. It is organized in categories of burgers, sloppies, hot dogs, veggie and fish burgers. This book has something for everyone. My husband who does not open any book has already looked through it and has marked the pages he wants to taste. Looks like burgers are on the menu in our household. Can't wait to try them all.

Easy recipies of not only great burgers but other sandwiches too! You can't go wrong with this cookbook. Whether you use it for a meal for yourself, your family or even better for entertaining. Your guests will be impressed with some of the amazing burgers you make from this book!Bloody Mary Burger... OH YEAH!

Haven’t got to try any of the recipes yet, but they sound delicious. I am new to the Rachael Ray bandwagon. I think my hubs has a crush on her. And in his eyes no one can cook like Rachel ray can.

I was really excited when Rachael Ray first plugged her book on her talk show a few months ago. I eagerly awaited its release and was very excited when it finally arrived. I was ultimately disappointed with the content.Rachael Ray has excellent burger recipes. I watch her talk show every day hoping for a burger recipe. What I didn't realize is that all of the burger recipes I had printed out from her talk show website would be included in this book. Most of the recipes have appeared on the show. I had already printed out the ones I liked. So I just spent $20 for something I already had. There are a few in the book that I was unaware of that look good. I have yet to make them so I can't comment.I also read a review on Amazon that the book contained few pictures. I paid no attention to this criticism as I thought I'd be ok with that. I'm not. I would like more pictures.Overall I was disappointed as a lot of these recipes are repeats of what has aired on her talk show. But I guess if you don't watch her show, you'll love this book as they are fantastic burger recipes.

Rachael to me is the queen of burgers. This is a great book even just as a coffee table book and you can just daydream about which one you will get to have next. :)

it is worth making the effort to translate some of the Americanisms. Rachael Ray uses named products such as sauces, I look up the sauce and it's key ingredients and replicate those flavours. Every burger that I have cooked from this book have been amazing and so diverse in flavour. This has been an excellent book for those who love messy, hearty and tasty burgers.

ich, als passionierter Burgergestalter, kann mit diesem Buch fast jede Seite, jedes Rezept umsetzen.Großartige neue Kreationen, auf die ich selbst nicht gekommen wäre,SUPER SAUCEN, mit das wichtigste am Burgergroßartig, einfach super!!einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass in diesem Buch leider keine Bun-Rezepte drin sind.Die perfekten Burger Buns hab ich zwar schon selbst gefunden, aber alternativen mit Dinkel, Vollkorn oder Roggen wären manchmal trotzdem toll...
