Trader Joe's Dried Cranberries, 8 oz (Pack of 2)

Great in salads or just a snack😀

I loved the product

I ordered these knowing they were sweetened. I was warned not to buy unsweetened cranberries as they were to tart. The package arrived as promised and I immediately added them to my can of nuts I like to eat. My first impression is that cranberries are sweetened to much. They taste fine but you really notice the added sugar which I think is unnecessary and detracts from the health benefits and removed some of the cranberry character I really want. I think a mildly tart berry would be best. I knew what I was getting and I think these berries are of very high quality and good taste.

My complaint is not with the actual product or the company that fulfilled the order. My complaint is with Amazon in that I used a search criteria specifically to find unsweetened dried cranberries and the Trader Joe's product came up at top of the results list. I ordered this product thinking it was sugar and other sweetener free and did not find out until the shipment arrived that these cranberries are actually sweetened with sugar. Being a type 2 diabetic for years, sweet food products generally make me gag, (either naturally sweetened or artificially sweetened) so I look for products that are free from any added sweetener. Since all of the other members of my family do have a bit of a sweet tooth, I did not attempt to return the product. My wife likes to sprinkle Ocean Spray Craisens on salads and as far as I can tell these are not much different.

I ordered unsweetened cranberries. The image did not say sweetened on the package but they were labeled sweetened when they arrived.

We cannot easily get to the nearest TJs any more. These are on the expensive side compared to the stores, but we really prefer TJs cranberries to any other from the large supermaroets.

love trader joe's dried cranberries. soft, sweet/tart and oh so good in cereal, chicken and/or turkey sandwiches, homemade trail mix, salads, stuffing, and anything else you can imagine. not being able to get to trader joe's stores, i am grateful i can find their products on amazon. they cost more, but when you don't have convenience of shopping in person, this will do nicely.

Most products arrived intact. Fairly distant bb date. Very disappointed with huy fong chilli sauce, which had Jan 2015 best before date. My mother brought me a bottle end 2013 and that had Apr 2015 expiry!!!
