Athlyt - Hex Dumbbell, Single

Amazing product for price, to be honest. Nice grip, good weight, comes as advertised, not really much else to talk about in regards to a hunk of metal. Sturdy too.My main complaint about it is the smell though. Good Christ. It smells like a chemistry undergrad's lab gone wrong. Smelling salts have a run for your money because I felt my eyes being punched by this Mike Tyson of an odor. Please, before opening, do it outside, and make sure you have a garden hose. Hell, it's not even the dumbbell that smells the worst, it's the box it came in. Don't burn that thing because it might actually throw the ecosystem into a meltdown. Your entire street is going to be evacuated after the gas leak coming from baby's first dumbbell.But it's a nice dumbbell. Just...wear nose plugs.

Great set of dumbells. Easy enough to clean.No strange smell off them unless someone else was using them ;)Grips on the dumbells are better than most commerical level dembells but need cleaned after use.Extremely Impressed with them.

Getting back into Lifting and fitness after a knee and shoulder injury. Thought I’d pick up the 5kg set to ease myself back into things.I’m not going to lie, the moment I unboxed them, it felt right. Good quality, built to last.Good space on the grab handle for bigger hands. They look pretty slick too! Happy with the purchase.

Unlike so other reviews mine didn’t smell or was covered in any oil etc. Simple dumbell and very good price. Wish they would do 40kg and 50kg

No problem with the dumbbells themselves but they come covered in stinky, toxic oils/grease that is impossible to clean off. Leaves black marks on anything they come in contact with.
