Great for flag illumination!
Finally, bulbs that really light up my flag! Not many low voltage LED's will do that. One on each side and it looks great.

Works for my Boat
I needed to replace my two front halogen docking lights on my boat, these did the trick and are much brighter. I read other reviews that complained some of their LED's did not work, so I ordered the six-pack even though I only needed two. The two I installed work perfectly, I did not test the remaining four. My docking lights are completely enclosed behind water tight lenses on the bow of the boat. I'm not concerned with heat build-up since I'll be lucky to use the lights once or twice a season for less than 15 minutes at a time. Besides, they are replacing halogen bulbs, which generate a lot of heat to begin with.A couple things I really like about the LED lights is how bright and pure they are with much less power consumed. These LED's also measured exactly the same as the halogens I replaced, which they needed to because they are held in with a metal shroud and two springs. I relied on the seller's measurements and it was very accurate, thankfully. My only word of caution is to be aware that they are described as "Non-Dimmable", so if your application requires dimming, these lights are not for you.

All the led bulbs only lasted 3 months running about 5 hrs per night. Every one burned out.
The bulbs fit the outlets as advertised and were bright as advertised. However, every single bulb burned out after only 3 months of use. The bulbs were turned on about 5 hours each night. The seller graciously contacted me based on my review and told me I had received a bad batch of bulbs. He graciously offered to replace the bulbs even though I was outside of the return window. He suggested I use a slightly lower wattage bulb (5 watts) since I was using the bulbs in an enclosed outdoor receptacle. The replacement bulbs arrived quickly, are equally as bright, and are working well after several weeks of continuous use.

Good to know not hallucinating
I thought my eyes were fading, but it was the original 7 yr old bulbs (different manufacturer). These Alide bulbs were the first we bought to replace the original bulbs in our kitchen track lights, which started fading and burning out after 6 years. These Alides installed easily and quickly, and it is great to have the lumens back even if a friend says she never misses our driveway at night b/c the kitchen lighting makes the driveway look like an airport runway. The 2700K temp is important b/c higher produces harsh light. The old bulbs flickered intermittently; hopefully these by Alide won't. If I had it to do over I would have bought a wider beam instead of 38 degrees.

3 all green, 3 all red - no "mixed" bulbs.
Bought these for Christmas; temporarily replaced my clear LED bulbs in my landscape lights with these. Perfect! Casts a very nice, rich green and red. A bit pricey, but what the heck. Good quality, I expect them to last a very long time, being that they'll only be used in December. Beware - the photos suggest that there are 2 fully green, 2 fully red, and 2 split green/red. There are no bulbs that are split green / red. 3 green, 3 red.

Specs are bogus
I guess, fortunately, I did not get to experience the short lifespan as other reviewers claim. The specs are definitely bogus.I purchased 2700K, and the box I received said 2700K, however these measured at 3000K on what I consider a very accurate meter. My intent was to use these for landscape lighting, so this is way too cool/harsh next to my other 2700K lights which are typically coming in warmer around 2500K.Next, they are not 7W. I measured 6.2W. That's at both 12.0v and 12.6V, so the drive is regulated. Not a huge miss. Finally, based on some back-of-the-envelope photometrics calculations and my own observation, these are not 38 degree. They are closer to 30 degree which is fairly significant. So, these didn't work for me based on the specs. For those who have experienced longevity issues, I've been using Halco 8W bulbs. One Halco bulb costs as much as a whole box of 6 of these, but they legit lasted almost 7 years running dusk-to-dawn.
