Great kitchen gadget
I guess I thought this came with a cover but i didn't get one... Bummer. I picked this up for my sister as a gift because she doesn't have one and I've found these definitely make life easier in the kitchen. I love these for ginger, garlic, lemon/lime peel and nutmeg. Haven't tried with lemongrass but just thought of it. They can be brutal on flesh so be careful when using and washing. I find if you rinse them immediately they clean up quickly. Generally the underside runs the opposite of the top side/blades, so when cleaning I wipe one way on top side and the other way on the opposite side. Just pay attention and you should be fine.

Very sharp first time
The first time I used this, I scraped my thumb. Because I was using a ceramic kind before, so I always got to the very end of garlic or whatever I was grating. Now I’m more careful and I do like the size and usefulness. It seems little less sharp than first time after several uses, but it still works just fine.

Works but has no cover
Works like it should but has no cover. I recommend spending a few more dollars and getting one with a cover. That way you are not scraping your hands on it every time you reach in your accessories drawer.

The lemon zested quickly and easily. It is longer than I had expected, or really wanted, but then I didn’t check the length before I bought it. Wish the cover was tighter. Over all a good product.

Easy to use, clean, and store, at an excellent price
The importance of having the right tool for the job is well known. When that tool comes at an excellent price, and goes beyond doing the job by also being easy to clean and store, it is a delight. I strongly recommend.

A Great Grater
This grater does a great job grating ginger, garlic, parmesan cheese, and zesting citrus fruits to a very fine texture.At the price it is a great value too.

Twice as big as I thought it would be
I thought I was getting a little rasp thing, you know, to zest lemons, oranges, etc. Well, this thing is something like a foot long, maybe more; much bigger than I had anticipated. Also I'm not convinced that it's doing the best job of actually getting the zest from the fruits. I think I'll keep looking.
