Dickies womens Temp-iq® Ripstop Bib Overalls

Love these - perfect for summer projects
I loved these as soon as they arrived. Got both the olive green and Air Force blue. Great colors, nice breathable (thanks to Temp-IQ) ripstop material, optional knee pad opening, pockets galore, and best part, stretchy shoulder straps. I’m 5’5” and the small fits perfectly with undergarments and a tshirt. Wearing leggings underneath would be too snug. I was tempted to switch to a medium for some more wiggle room and heavier layers in the winter (thermals, sweater), but wanted to use these right away for my yard and garage projects.

Love
Bought for dry dock work in Hawaii, and these were perfect! I’m 5’2” and about 123 lbs, small fit great. Light weight but very durable and so many useful pockets. Definitely recommend

Favorite overalls
These are my favorite overalls ever. I waited for the blue to be available in my size again, and the color is awesome--NOT navy blue or teal blue, but a true deep marine. Really pretty, and also dark enough to make some of the dirt less obvious. The pant legs roll up and are secured on either side of the calf with unobtrusive little snaps. The legs look good either rolled up or left down. The bib is wide enough to look proportional even on a curvy chest. The straps are easy to adjust and then they stay adjusted. Lots of good pockets BUT I agree with other reviewers that there should be some way to close at least the main pocket on the bib--anything in those pockets WILL fall out every time you lower the bib to go to use the toilet--remembering to empty the bib's entire contents into the other pockets is a PITA, so mostly I just don't use the bib pockets. Sad! The second layer of fabric on the knees is a different fabric; I assume this is for sturdiness, and find it unobtrusive and not a problem at all. The main fabric is cool enough for warmer temps--very much like the fabric of the cult classic Heirloom Gardening overalls from Duluth (which I also love). The fit of these overalls is true to size, whereas the Duluth overalls are looser. I own both in a size large and both fit me well (5' 6", 150-155lbs, 36D, proportional body shape). If these came in another color I liked, like a dark evergreen/fir/forest or a good dark brown, I'd buy these again before I would buy the Duluth overalls. Highly recommended!

I LOVE these!
Purchased these for lawn care. They are great! Lightweight but durable, very flexible when bending/squatting and a surplus of pockets. I like the reinforced knee pads too. Definitely recommend

Best working bibs
I work outside fencing and staining- in the south. These are very durable, fit true to size (5’3”, 128 and wear a small). Love the removable knee pads. The fabric is very thin and cool but incredibly durable with a crisscross ripstop fabric.

Scratchy
I like the fit but the fabric is very scratchy also the knee is a double layer but the top layer is cotton and is not stretchy.

Excellent product. Highly recommend.
Super happy with this product. I live in the south where high humidity is almost year round and the moisture wicking keeps me cool! This product has many good features - the elastic straps are soooo helpful. It also has good pocket options so I can carry my phone and tools. Will be buying more.

Strong but light
Love these. Too long for me even with the buttonups but I hemmed them to my height. They are durable and really lightweight. Not like denim would be. They have the stop rip material.

Had to alter the shoulder straps
Cool material, but still heavy duty enough to endure for shop use. The only negative thing is the "stretchy" clips. It pulls the crotch up too high! I've sewed some longer extensions and don't have to keep trying to pull it down all day. It fits well otherwise.
