put one on left on the garage to laundry room steps. worked so well, put another on the right. Easy, secure mounting. One change: the older model had the rail bolted to the mounting plate. came loose, but aside from having to take it apart, some locktite solved th problem. The later one was welded...BIG improvement

Nice sturdy handrail, but we had to use different screws. The ones included are too short.

We ordered 2 of these and they work perfect for a single step porch. They are easy to install, sturdy and appear to be well made. The only issue I had is with the screws they provided they are to short. I went to the hardware store and picked up longer screws for a couple of dollars. Still 5 stars as it was such a minor issue.

This little railing has pleasantly surprised us being very helpful and useful!

Steps going into kitchen from garage.

I have black pipe railing leading up to a cottage in my backwoods. Unfortunately the railing ends three feet short of the door entrance, which includes 3 granite steps. It has always been dangerous for my wife and I to enter the front door because there was no railing to cling to.This handbar was the perfect solution. It complements the existing handrail and allows us to open the front door without fear of falling. The cottage clapboards could only accommodate four of the six available mounting screws. Even so, the four utilized mounting screws hold the handbar strongly and securely.

This apparatus is flimsy to the point of being dangerous.
